Nice little place. And hands down the cleanest A&W i have ever been to. They also have the best vibe of an A&W, much better than the ones in Iowa.
The food tasted good and was made fast. The lady at the register was super nice and fun. They had a few different things inside and out to take pictures with. The kids loved it. Overall, really exceeded my expectations because the other A&W restaurants we’ve been to were kinda boring and sad. But this one is happy and fun!
Get the crunchberry shake while it is here! Was super yummy.

Drive thru- was great! Prompt, thorough. The only thing was I got a swirl with two ingredients: cookie dough and Reese’s. The cookie dough and Reese’s could have been half the amount. I would’ve liked to taste some ice cream as well. Otherwise that. Really well done.

Ordered chicken to go at 8:10 last night. Was given a bag of food before I had even had filled my drink cup. Opened within 3 mins of leaving and the chicken was cooked but barely warm and had been sitting there a while. Coating was no longer crisp. Fries not much better. Every other A&W I’ve visited cooks chicken to order. I’ll survive but won’t go back here.

I love it there! My favorite place! Employees are very friendly and awesome, and always have smiles and peppy attitudes! Their strawberry shakes and hand breaded sliders are delicious! Never had a bad experience, and have been going here consistently a few times a week for 6 months.

Considering we came very late in the evening, I would say they did a great job here. I’ve been through the drive thru a couple of times, and no complaints there. First time being inside. Pleasantly surprised!

Probably won’t be back. Got order wrong for chili cheese fries and took ten minutes to pull up order to figure out price difference. Couldn’t just realize they made a mistake and bring out correct item. This is the second time they have messed this up last time we had to wait almost a half hour for chili cheese fries. Employees Don’t seem to care.

Went in today for the first time- food was fast (enough – wait was like 12/15 minutes not unacceptable for a new restaurant working out the kinks ) and hot when we got it. The kid behind the counter was nice and the delivery dude to our table was friendly. While we were eating someone came in upset and frazzled because something happened during the drive through – the manager handled it gracefully and the community stepped in to back her up. Over all- a great experience even through the hiccup of negativity. Love the new little addition to our small town-

A & W in Howard Lake is pretty close to that vintage feel. Their customer service was above average. A special hello to 2 of the workers there who recommended the restaurant! Great sales team A.J. Ross and J. Rock! I give it 5 stars all around!
