Who would’ve thought that in 2025 I’d be posting a sushi review for a restaurant in Lehigh Acres, Florida—but here we are!
My wife and I went on a lunch date today at the new Sushi Hibachi, and we were genuinely impressed. We walked into a clean, warm, and inviting dining room with plenty of seating and comfortable space between tables. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy, with a large menu of sushi and hibachi options to choose from.
The woman at the counter was friendly, smiling the entire time, and welcoming everyone who came through the door. Our food was made fresh and brought right to our table. We ordered the fried rice, crab rangoon, OMG Roll, and the spicy California roll. Appetizers came out in under five minutes, and entrées followed just a few minutes after that.
Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The fried rice was good—just a little on the mild/bland side—but still enjoyable. The sushi rolls were excellent.
Overall, this was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

We decided to try them out to celebrate a major win for me. The food is very good. The Harumaki is tender, very good delicate flavor with a sweet mild dipping sauce. The spicy salmon roll was very good made with fresh ingredients. We also ordered chicken yakisoba and steak yakisoba. Only complaint was they were both a bit on the salty side, but otherwise very good as well and large portions. The atmosphere is bright and clean and the staff are all very friendly.

The experience was absolutely WONDERFUL! What I love is the amazing customer service with the sweetest girl in the WORLD at the front prepared to take your order with personality & professionalism. Then, the FOOD was super FRESH. I ordered the Chicken / Steak habachi and it was amazing! They are very generous with the meat, I LOVED IT!! I only wish it had mushrooms (just a tip!) and a little more veggies as well. But over all, it was perfect. The sushi was amazing too! We will definitely keep these guys busy! The food is super YUMMY!!

I happened to be shopping at Publix and noticed this spot in the plaza. What a pleasant and tasty experience. I ordered the Shrimp tempura roll and the Tuna Avocado roll and it was very fresh. The sushi chef and the young lady at the register were friendly and accommodated my request for masago (smelt roe) on my roll. Finally a decent Asian cuisine in Lehigh Acres. Its been about 20 years now we have been waiting for a place like this. I shall return with friends and family very soon. Do not hesitate to give this place a try.

Krab Rangoons were great. Incredible roll was good. The OMG roll is loaded with food and is good if you prefer deep fried hot rolls.

I had a wonderful Sunday lunch here. The restaurant is ultra clean and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere is modern upscale with a touch of Japanese decor including a samurai sword on the wall behind the sushi station ~ very cool. This is an order at the counter and take any seat. The food is courteously delivered in about 5 minutes or so. It’s hot and of high quality. The taste is amazing. I had the Yakisoba Chicken and my wife had the Hibachi Chicken. We also ordered 2 tempura shrimp served on a china plate with cucumber strips and some sauce in a cool design. Even the cups for self serve drinks have a Tori gate with sushi and chopsticks logo on them. Included on the cup is a QR code for the menu. Single use chopsticks are on hand as well as lower sodium soy sauce. The food is so full of flavor neither of us needed any extra sauce.

Food near is amazing but the atmosphere is more of an open ended restaurant and less of a hibachi service is set-up like a small Chinese place. The food is worth 10 stars everything else 4-star it should emphasize on Express

OBSESSED with Hibachi Sushi Express!!! The hibachi chicken and steak with veggies and rice is AMAZING every single time The meat is juicy and packed with flavor, the veggies are perfectly cooked , and the rice is SO good ✨ Portions are huge, the food is always fresh and hot, and service is super fast ⏱️ I crave this place nonstop—absolute 10/10, highly recommend!!!

This is definitely a budget friendly chain hibachi option. Sushi was better than Publix but I’ve also had better. It’s nice to see a bit more diversity pop up in Lehigh. Especially for a sit down restaurant. Will come back to try hibachi too.

Food was very fresh and delicious. Portions were plentiful and had to save some for the next day. Still amazing even reheated. Definitely my new favorite place for hibachi and sushi.
