I’ve been wanting to eat here for quite a while. We didn’t have to wait for a table.
I was surprised at the large menu. I didn’t know what to expect. Our wait person was very nice. Our orders were perfect.
Can’t wait to go back..yes it was that good.

Was a little busy when we went. Luckily, there were two seats at the bar, so there was no wait. It was also not very loud.

I really wanted to try the stuff biscuits and gravy, but they would not make one without cheese.
I grabbed the loaded hash browns instead. It was tasty, though I did not taste a single onion on it. The hash browns were also undercooked; but still edible.

Thought about getting a mimosa… not for $9 each… lol. Their prices are a bit high for a small town.

I was so hoping this would be great! But it wasn’t. The food was bland. I ordered the veggie omelette with real eggs (usually egg whites) with hash browns and sourdough toast. The hash browns looke My husband had the Meat Lovers and experienced the same thing as I did. Service was great and the atmosphere was great too. Good people!

The establishment efficiently manages seating arrangements, minimizing customer wait times. The premises are meticulously maintained, providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The overall ambiance is notably pleasant and inviting. Moreover, the service appears to be exceptionally attentive, with staff demonstrating a high degree of professionalism to ensure a positive dining experience. Our server, Alma, provided excellent service with a pleasant demeanor and a good sense of humor. Portion sizes are substantial.

Basic tasting breakfast, nothing special. For how much my meal cost I would think there would be some unique quality of my food but there was not. Unfortunately, the “buttermilk” pancake I paid extra for had corn meal in it which took away from having an enjoyable flavor.. (I only ate half of the pancake) I asked the waitress why my buttermilk pancake had corn meal in it but she had no clue what they were made of I pointed out the small yellow crunchy dots all in the pancake but she didn’t know what that was. She didn’t bother to ask if I enjoyed it or not even though I told her I didn’t like it.
On the other dish, one of the tomato slices were from the butt so it was firm and not good to eat..

We had a wonderful experience at Sunny Street Café! The food was fresh and delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming. Everything we ordered came out just right, and we left feeling very pleased. Definitely a spot we’d come back to—highly recommend!

Great spot. Stopped in Weatherford on our way to Capernaum Studios and found this gem. Cute spot with great service. I ordered the hearty breakfast (eggs, bacon and another side) along with pancakes. I went fancy and ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes. They were good but had to cut the sweetness with some fruit. Bacon was just to my liking and eggs are eggs. I was satisfied. My friend ordered a quiche, which they only make on weekends. It was a bit dry. The homemade salsa didn’t help. Grits were good. There were some other menu items that piqued my interest. I’d go back, for sure!

Food was meh, I got the “stuffed biscuit”. It was folded over biscuit dough with a very small amount of sausage, cheese and peppers inside. Probably 10% filling, 90% dough. Then the scrambled eggs were paper thin. I’m not sure how they accomplished that but definitely not a good way to serve scrambled eggs. The service was fast but no smile, how do you do’s or any pleasantries. Just a what do you want and do you need anything else?

We were just here yesterday while traveling from Colorado. Again, like yesterday the food was good. We were warmly treated by the hostess and Terri, our server was fabulous. She brought everything we asked for quickly and went above and beyond to give us good service.

Critique: Order the fresh eggs, the liquid eggs look like rubber.

For those who run cold bring a sweater. The back room is cold,

All in all. Great job SSC!!!

We love small businesses, so we tried this restaurant while traveling from Colorado. Our server Marisela was great.

She greated us with a smile and when I asked her for fresh eggs vs liquid eggs, she smiled and brought them out promptly.

The food was better than average, but the service was great. The prices were reasonable and affordable.

Thank you Marisela!!!
