we made a reservation ahead of time and ordered the prix fixe brunch, and they customized the menu to accommodate our dietary restrictions (pescatarian). the food was delicious, the atmosphere was so sweet, and the staff was incredibly thoughtful. 100% would go back! (personal faves: iced ube espresso, lava eggs, smoked sturgeon dip, prawn and fish stew, beignet with ube condensed milk and warm soy milk and bean drink)

Thoroughly enjoyed everything. The rice is slightly sweet with mouth-watering thai pork and lava eggs. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and our waiting was very knowledgeable about every plants ingredients and helped us find a good substitute. He had the vegan side and found it super flavorful and delicious. We also really enjoyed the fried coconut cups. We got there early, around 9:30am, and had no wait. Cozy indoor seating.

What a gem! It’s not easy to impress me when it comes to breakfast served with rice, but this place sure blew my skirt up. Every thing looks/smells/tastes fantastic. But if you ask me the eggs are the start of the show. The scrambled eggs are so lucious, shiny, and delicate that I order a double helping. The Ube latte was a welcome splash of color and taste.

The food was delicious although relatively expensive compared to other fusion brunch places. It was quite busy so the food does take some time to come out. The green sauce that came with the Hokkaido Scallop Seasonal Special actually paired better with the Grilled Pork Jowl as it cut on the fattiness and complimented the meat whereas the scallops were much more delicate in flavor.

On a sunny day, the outdoor seating is hot as there is limited shade. The restaurant is small so groups of 4+ will have a long wait.

My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit this Northern Thai restaurant for brunch today. From the moment you walk in, your are greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. This spot is quaint, but just the way it should be. Very intimate. The atmosphere is comfy and not crowded. Oh.. they even have an outside seating area. The inside is nicely decorated indeed.

We were seated immediately and our server wasted no time in accomodating is with water and limes. They offer still, tap and sparking water. They even have limes for your water, upon request. Every server that came to us, was so nice. They ensured to all is if we had any allergies more than once. I love that because they really care about the health of their customers and the experience they have while in their restaurant. Such a lovely ambiance. Great food suggestions by the servers.

I had the organic chicken entree and my wife had the beef shank entree. I ordered the Iced strawberry matcha and my wife had the peach one. We both agree that the peach one was THE best. Although the strawberry one was a definite runner up. For appetizers, we had the beinget and I forget the name of it m. But it had grapefruit and blood oranges in it (Def a bit too spicy for my palate).

Our food came out hot, plated well and delicious. We throughly enjoyed our food as we tried one another’s.

It was a very very pleasurable experience. Please take time out to come and dine here. Your will not regret it.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and have loved the food every single time! On my last visit, I tried the prix fixe menu and it was also delicious! If you are more adventurous in trying new foods and want to try items not on the regular menu, it’s definitely worth a shot. The food was delicious, as usual, and the presentation was amazing as well.

Please, please, please go try this place! We had an incredible time there! Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The owner and server were incredibly kind and attentive. They took their time checking on us and sharing the history and inspiration behind each dish. Don’t forget to check in when you arrive. The wait after check-in was a bit long, but it was definitely worth it!

Must order: Gaeng Hung Le

Came here on a Saturday for brunch at around 12:30 and waited for around 45 minutes to get seated but super worth the wait!

I got the pork jowl, and the crispy pork went super well with the creamy egg and rice. The coconut bites were amazing as well; both savory and sweet toppings on top!

Can’t wait to go back and try some of their drinks next time as well 😉

We were a group of 5 and arrived at 12PM on a Saturday. They gave us a wait time of 45 minutes when we checked in. After over an hour of waiting, we checked in with staff because it had been such a long wait and were informed that they still didn’t have a table to accommodate us and that there would still be a 20 minute wait. At this point, all of the people that came after us had been seated and we were the only ones still waiting. We were finally told that wait would be 10 more minutes and we asked if we could order first but they said no because food would get cold before we’re seated. We were finally seated at around 1:45pm and as we go in, we saw a booth with a party of 4 right next to us that could’ve accommodated us and the party there arrived after us but was seated before us. Finally took our order at 1:55pm but food still did not arrive until 2:15. When it did arrive, portions were quite small but the Nam Prik Ong was particularly disappointing as there were only 3 tiny slices of sausage and 2 of the slices were literally the end pieces and so ridiculously small (refer to photo). Lastly we had ordered an appetizer that did not arrive until way after we had finished eating (they did comp this) but the overall experience was ridiculous and the food was not worth the price at $45/ person, drinks were also just mid and I would not come here again.

We came half an hour before noon and waited another half hour to get a table. Food is a little pricey. There are some hits and misses in my opinion. Kanom Krok and Café drinks are good. Lava egg over rice on each lunch plate we ordered is a hit and delicious. Sizzling Skillet: Gaeng Hun Le is right on for spiciness, flavor and portion. Fried rice is chewy and blended well with some spice. Pork is soft and very pleasant to chew. Though grilled pork jowl flavor is OK, there are a lot more fat than meat. Nam Prik Ka is a little off on taste. Though there are some namprik (spice paste) on each slice of slow cooked beef, the taste is not blended well together. It might be nice if beef is cooked in a curry or something. The lady who served us was very nice. If we ever come again, we might try Sai Oua.
