What a wonderful fancy hamburger place, the environment and area is beautiful. The style of the dining room is pretty and relaxing, its a nice hamburger joint.

The service is good and quick, its a self order type of in-door dining, so kind of bice to try something new. But the food is amazing!

Double Cheese Burger: The burger is wonderful, the meat was cooked nicely and had a lot of juice, it was also very big, so one burger will fill you up. The seasoning and toppings was very complimentary. Wonderful burger!

The National Chicken Sandwich: The chicken was good and the fried egg adds a nice touch. The sauce was very tasty, but I cant pinpoint a similar example to compare it to. I wish the chicken was more crispy, but it was still good.

Coffee And Chocolate Smoothies: This was an awesome touch, the smoothie tastes exactly what you would expect. The ingredients are good quality as well, so you won’t get that generic sugary variety at most places.

I would say, come here for burgers and soothies!

Highly suggest even though the front and inside look very bland. The menu seemed intriguing since they didn’t have a huge selection of burgers to choose from. My thoughts were “how can they make a burger that’s below average if they have only three to choose from”

Burger: 4.5/5 ⭐️
The brown butter really set it apart from everything else. The burger was juicy and the toppings didn’t over power it. I took a half star away because I believe it has mayo on it and I’m just not a fan of that.

Fries: 5/5 ⭐️
Crispy and not over fried.

Shake: 5/5 ⭐️
They have many uncommon flavors. I tried the PBJ w/ toast which was phenomenal. You can drink it as soon as it’s handed to you. It’s not super thick and it wasn’t a mix that was already made.

Staff: 5/5 ⭐️
The staff seemed to be nice. They even brought our food and shakes outside to us instead of calling our order number.

Italian burger was flavorful and tasty. Chicken sandwich was pretty good. Sweet potato fries was great. Good value.
The butcher’s is new favorite.
Chicken has been hit and miss. Juicy or dry.

Mélange was great. No reservations were really needed. However, we did arrive on a weekday which may have impacted how busy they were. Overall, their food was delicious. The burgers were juicy and the milkshakes are amazing!

After we ordered we were taken to our seats. The milkshakes came out quickly as well as our food. We ordered the classic burgers along with their yummy chicken sandwich. Great atmosphere for children and families. Great service with seating indoors and outside.

By far the best burger place in northern Virginia, you can tell the chef has michelin roots. I love shake shack and five guys but Melange is on another level. The classic burger is simply the best burger assembled. The dry aged beef patty in their burgers is soft and juicy, but still retains a great crust on the outside. Put together with the pickled onions and brown butter aioli, it is an unbeatable burger. Please give Melange your patronage, we cannot lose such a great burger establishment.

During class, a student mentioned burgers and I got this uncontrollable craving and decided to stop by Mélange.

I ordered the Double Decker with a side of Sea Salt French Fries to go.

The order took around 10 minutes to prepare and cost $24.20 after tax.

The burger and fries were delicious and I crushed it in about 15 minutes as soon as I got back to my apartment.

I wish I would have gotten a milkshake or tried their ice cream but I’m probably going to be a repeat customer since I live around the neighborhood.

I highly recommend Mélange if you want to eat a delicious burger in the DC Mount Vernon Triangle area.

Noticed this place for the first time. The signage got my attention as I rode by because I saw the word “Burgers”. Once I got closer and read the sidewalk menu, and photos through the window, saw they also offer milkshakes! So I decided I would order and subsequently dined in.
Four out of five stars since they were not able to craft the first milkshake option I wanted (time it takes to make).
Very tasty food! Cozy inner dining space.

I give the food a 4.5 out of 5. Service was good. I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. But the fries had too much pith and not enough crispiness, but were well seasoned.

However, I hate the “atmosphere.” It is not a relaxing place to grab lunch, you’re blasted with music and there’s no sound padding/decorations on the walls to absorb the sound. Even nearly empty, I found it a very unpleasant place to eat. I also killed 4 mosquitos that were trying to eat me while I ate at my inside table.

While I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich, I wouldn’t go back to eat in. I want a place where I can think or chat with friends, not a place blasting me with sound so I leave as soon as I’m done.

The burgers are okay, not bad but also not amazing. The national burger has an interesting taste, but not my favorite. It has spicy doro wat style fried chicken, kobe aioli, turmeric slaw, and fried egg. The mushroom one is average. The milkshake has a very strong condensed milk flavor.
