Wonderful first time visit !!! I will def be back !! We had the fried eggplant and boudin balls also the debris fries and the jalapeno burger …oh yeah and the funnel cake fries !!! Everything was hot and fresh and the portions were great especially for how reasonably priced they were !!!! I just cant say enough good !!!

You have to get the roast beef debris fries. The home made ranch dressing was good too. Great portions, friendly waiter and good price. Also the atmosphere was great with good non biased music. Keep up the good work! i will be coming back.

Just tried Lunchbox Express after reading the rave reviews and it did not disappoint!!! You MUST try it! We had the debris/cheesy French fries, fried shrimp po-boy and the funnel cake fries. ALL to die for! The restaurant was immaculate and the service was great. A real homey atmosphere with lots of conversation and laughs with the management. We WILL be back and it was definitely worth the drive from north of Abita!! We HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I stopped in this place at the last minute. We were looking for a very casual stop where we could sit and eat. This is an excellent place! The food was delicious and the service was equally good.
Stop in here and you will have a better day.

Nothing, for me four stars is pretty darn good. If you review my “reviews” you will note I rarely give five stars. Lunchbox Express is very high on our list of places to stop in for a bite when we’re in the area.

Debris fries were THE best! Also had a shrimp poboy that was amazing! If you’re looking for good food definitely go here. I ordered it to go and it only took 10 minutes to come out so they are fast also.

The service was excellent, very friendly. This eatery was very clean. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger poboy. I, on the other hand, did not enjoy the roast beef debris french fries; I found it to be bland, so I splattered ketchup on it. Still, I didn’t eat much of it.

Definitely one of the best places to eat near my house. Their fries are seriously the best fries i have ever had from a restaurant and their cheeseburgers are huge and delicious. The roast beef is perfect as well!

Been there several times on visits from Colorado, tried many items. All excellent. Best roast beef po boys, hamburgers, and best seafood items too. Excellent French fries and funnel cake fries. We go back as often as possible. Great place! Thanks.

Went here today for lunch my husband had the grilled catfish basket, I had the grilled shrimp basket, and our daughter had the kids chockec bites. The food was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely be back!
