I’m so glad that we stopped here. We walked into the little Cafe to an “empty” beautiful display case that was actually filled with wonderfully delicious looking pastries of all kinds and flavors. The young lady behind the counter couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. It was a delight to hear her enthusiasm about what they had to offer. The pastries and cakes all looked amazing, and I had a hard time deciding what to get. We ended up getting some treats to eat there and some to take home. All of which were fantastic. The hype about the horchatta latte is real, and nobody is lying. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you can’t make a bad choice in this place. ☺️

I stopped by this Mexican bakery and café around 5:30 PM—they close at 6—and was hoping to grab a sweet treat and a cafecito. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the coffee bar was already closed, even though the shop was still open. It would’ve been nice to enjoy a warm drink with my pastry, so that was a bit of a letdown.

On the bright side, parking is easy and convenient—there’s a pebble lot right next to the building, as well as ample street parking. The atmosphere inside is lovely, with music playing and amazing smells wafting from the bakery area. It’s definitely a cozy spot, and I noticed they offer free WiFi, which would make it a nice place to do some computer work or unwind with a pastry earlier in the day.

I ended up picking out an éclair ($7.50). The price felt a little steep, but I have to say the quality was impressive. The chocolate ganache on top was silky smooth, rich, and not grainy—a clear sign it was made well. The crème pâtissière filling had a pleasant vanilla flavor, and the texture was spot-on: stable, smooth, and not separated.

The choux pastry itself had a nice texture on top, though the bottom was a bit soggy, which may be understandable given the time of day. Traditionally, éclairs are filled by piping crème through holes, but I’ve noticed more bakeries—like this one—are now splitting them open to allow for more generous fillings, which I didn’t mind at all.

Overall, despite the coffee bar being closed, this bakery is charming and clearly focused on quality. I’d definitely return—just earlier in the day—to enjoy the full experience with coffee and maybe try a few more pastries.

Everyone was right. This Horchata latte is fire! i especially like that they have easy free parking, couches with outlets, bathroom, delicious samples of their baked goods, friendly and hospitable staff. The vibe is just exactly what I’m looking for in a cafe where I feel I can stay a while to chat or get work done.

BONUS: Def read the CHISME! and leave us some to read later too!

first time in. ordered a chai latte. not sure if the default is iced, but it did come iced which is fine. but not sure why there was sweetener added? mouthful of artificial flavor. i approached the staff and asked if they had added sugar or sweetener. response was ~sugar free vanilla syrup~ it was super sweet and didn’t taste like chai..

I stumbled on this place by pure accident of being lost. What a gem!

Great sweet bread, I stuck to conchas, and black coffee, but tasted my sons Mexican mocha and daughters horchata latte. Both were tasty.

I love coming here for pan dulce, pastries, and their delicious coffee. The service has usually been very kind and welcoming. Recently, though, my mom had a negative experience. When she spoke Spanish, a staff member replied, “I don’t speak Spanish,” with attitude. It’s fine not to know Spanish, but given the bakery’s Spanish name, website, and cultural focus (Mexican bakery), it’s natural for customers to expect some accommodation. No one expects staff to learn the language, but there’s no need to be rude—customer service should feel welcoming no matter what language someone speaks. I truly enjoy this bakery, and I’d love to keep supporting it, so I hope this was a one-time bad experience.

This is a very cute coffee shop/ bakery on Sebastopol Rd. They had plenty of parking and lots of seating inside. The decor was lovely, colorful, vibrant! Inside or outside you’ll find great backdrops for pictures to post. Service was friendly, but slow. The menu is very limited. Just a few pre made sandwiches for lunch. There are more options for breakfast. They have some specialty coffee drinks like Mazapan Latte (yum!), Horchata latte and a 4 leches latte. The cakes and tarts looked beautiful and delicious. I’ll have to come back to try those!

I had ordered a cake ahead of time and was not disappointed. We had the cuatro leches cake with strawberries it was absolutely divine! Moist, rich, and bursting with flavor. We were warmly welcomed by Abby, who was kind and helpful from the moment we walked in. We ended up buying a good assortment of their pastry selection. Fantastic service and incredible desserts, we’ll definitely be back.

I ordered a $40 cake from here. Penmanship would have been better if I did it myself. They smudged my name during packing and couldn’t fix it so they gave me a generic sign instead
Just use a bigger box/container if you want to guarantee good delivery of your product!!

The German apricot cake was bland. Taste nothing like apricot. Customer Service doesn’t care. Don’t waste your money.
