I’ve purchased breads and pastas from the Santa Barbara farmers market, so it was nice to finally visit the bakery in person.
The space is very inviting, the staff is friendly, and there are tons of specialty options to choose from.
I was most impressed by the vegan sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. Many vegan sandwiches tend to be a simple hummus and veggie combination, but this one had an incredible tomato jam that paired perfectly with the fresh vegetables and house made bread.
My mom had the ham sandwich and absolutely loved it. We would literally drive 30 minutes back to the bakery, just to have those sandwiches.
They offer a beautiful selection of fresh pastas, sourdough breads, pies, and pastries. Truly a gem of a bakery.

Bought three chocolate croissants today around 1 pm at the farmers market off of Sunset. The guy selling at the stand nice. Walked around a bit, went to the museum and got home around 3 pm. Went to eat a croissant and it was so hard and chewy I had to throw it away. Waste of $15.

Update: They have a new Pastry Chef who is creative, skilled, and passionate about pastries! She has been making the most yummy and creative cakes, muffins, croissants, and sweet and savory puff pastry masterpieces. Deliciousness!

On their opening day, they made personal pizzas, which were yum! The foccasia bread is amazing…I ordered a foccasia pull apart round for Thanksgiving that I can’t wait to try

Known for growing, harvesting and milling their own flour, they offer a variety of delicious goodies!! Also, a bountiful selection of fresh produce! They are only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays however, so make sure you plan your trip to the market accordingly!! Thank you to the whole staff for your service and your hard work!
