My boyfriend and I were craving Mexican food and we have tried a lot of spots in Willimantic, but this place is our favorite find! I ordered the Vegetarian Burrito with rice and beans and it could have fed 2 people! The yellow rice and beans are sooo flavorful. The portion sizes are incredible for the prices! Very large portion sizes and the food tastes so fresh and truly homemade.

The food was fantastic! We got steak tacos & al pastor tacos- they were loaded and had tons of flavor. The homemade sauces were some of the best ive ever had. On top of that, the staff was so welcoming and friendly! Will definitely be back to this great place.

Excellent excellent food. Home made and full of flavor. Two options, either you sit at a table and order from the menu OR walk along the display counter and have a plate custom built for you (highly recommend). You won’t be disappointed. If I lived closer I would get to go all the time but I always sit at the tables so I can get a good face sweat with the red sauce

overall, my experience of the place wasn’t completely terrible. To be honest, the environment was lovely and it was a convenient place and location. The food wasn’t that good. I had made a large tray of whatever was out on display: i had rice & beans w stew chicken and spicy wings. the chicken was all undercooked but the rice and beans were solid 9/10. I also order chicken enchiladas… those were not up to par either. we asked for it to be taken off the tab bc it was not eaten at all and the owner refused. but yes overall, 1/5 which is really equivalent to 2/10 stars

Went there with a very large group for a birthday dinner after a Windham Tech basketball game. Pretty sure we had 14. We were accommodated very well and quickly. The food was very good, and the employees were very friendly and did a great job. Looking forward to going back and trying something different. The dried peppers were awesome.
