I’m not sure if something has changed since the last reviews were written, but I went here for the first time today (its in Whole Foods, Waverly location). I had the chicken ramen. It was superb. Excellent broth, very flavorful, and the noodles were done just right. It’s the best ramen I’ve had in Charlotte, and I’ve tried Co around the corner (awful) and Fahrenheit uptown (which was good but much further away, more expensive and longer waits when all you want is a good bowl of ramen). Highly recommended!

A little food stand in the Whole Foods. We ordered two bowls of ramen which were both fine, but nothing special. It felt like microwaved noodles served in warm broth. For a quick bite I felt it was too expensive. You could get an authentic, real ramen for the same price elsewhere.

Like another reviewer, I arrived at lunch time to find no employee working. It was 11:45 and the clock on the counter said they would return at 11:55. I was on my lunch break so I decided to just get something from the hot bar, even though that’s not what I was wanting. By the time I got my food and checked out it was 12:00 and there was still no employee working. Very odd to have a lone employee be on break at lunch time. I still want to try them but I can’t wait around for over 15 minutes just to place the order, on top of the actual food prep time.

Got the veggie bowl expecting a weak broth. It was quick, fresh and had a great, rich flavor. We went to CO across the street and the ramen cost almost twice as much, and was lukewarm and fishy. *gross*. Get a better bowl at Kei Jei!

I lived in Japan. I love Ramen. This is good ramen. Way better than that “Fat Pig” place in the South End. This is real Japanese Ramen and it’s spot on perfect. Even enjoyed my last bowl with two ladies from Japan and they agreed with my review.

Ramen! The staple of any good menu. This is a fast food style ramen shop. Service was good and food was tasty. They have a few different varieties so try them all.

they have the nastiest bubble tea in the world.
It is suppose to be cold but they served me warm tea with tapiocas all stuck together.
They sell cheap quality food for high price.
Total waste of money.

My wife and I stumbled upon this place, and we could not have been happier. The food was delicious, the ambiance, and service were also an A+. We can’t wait to go back. Definitely check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

The food seemed good, but both employees were in a break at same time, so the restaurant would be closed until 3:30. It was weird to be closed during lunch time

So glad we decided to take a break and grab a bite! Warmed my belly and my soul. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town again
