If you want affordable top notch bone in chicken this is the place. The ladies here are always cheerful, friendly and upbeat.
The food is fantastic. I always order the $6 dollar special, with 2 crispy thighs, mashed taters with gravy and a roll. Their chicken thighs are huge, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
The dining area is always clean and they have padded chairs! They also have tall table and chairs.
I highly recommend this restaurant for the best flavorful and big size meals for the price. Plus I love the staff, always friendly and helpful.

My daughter wanted to use the toy machine, unfortunately it was out of order! And the lady she asked was also, SO KIND!
The manager, I assume! Found a toy for my daughter, and made the whole experience worth it.

And being here was a nostalgic experience.

I had never been to a place where Golden Chick was a thing – and it turns out, I had been missing out. I will not deny, I was a little concerned with the color of the fried batter, but I should not have been, it was great. I must have eaten here 5 times in 3 days while in the area. The chicken was great, the spices added were uniquely great, everything seemed pretty clean. Hard find any big negatives.

Service was absolutely great and fast! And now for the review of what you came here for. The food. We ordered 2 four piece chicken tenders and spent 21 dollars! I didn’t mind the price but from all of the good things I’ve heard I’m so dissatisfied. The chicken was not even close to being fresh. Absolutely no flavor. I ordered the spicy and it was still original. Fries were smashed and of course, cold. My fiancé saved the best for last. The Mac and cheese. But upon opening the lid we see a silver speckle. No clue what it is but definitely not interested in giving it another shot. Great looking food spot and very inviting. Until you eat unfortunately.

Never have been a fan of Golden chick overall. Decided to give this one a try and it wasn’t too bad. The chicken is pretty tasty and the ladies are so sweet that work here. Pretty decent over all.

My husband got an order to go. He ordered two thighs and a leg. When he got home and checked the order it was two legs and a back. Food didn’t taste that fresh. Will not go back there.

We finally gave Golden Chick a try since they opened in Ardmore, and we were blown away! We stopped by about 30 minutes before closing and had to wait a bit, but it was totally worth it. The food was FRESH and delicious! Huge shoutout to Joey, who was super kind and attentive. He even remembered our ranch request! It’s rare to find great customer service and fresh food at a fast-food place, especially near closing time. We’re so impressed! Can’t wait to come back!
