Ask Anthony the owner to cook you up some grass fed burgers, grass fed cheesesteak and antibiotic and hormone free chicken. You will not be disappointed!!! Also, don’t forget to get the BEST gelato ever for desert!!!
The burger was delicious. Well-seasoned, good cheese, a solid structure, and a heavenly bun. The fries were tasty and had a good crisp.
The quesadilla was also fantastic. Cheesy, flavorful, and nice texture.
Would recommend!
Okay, but let’s talk about the food. The Bacon Burger, medium, was literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. As a total burger fanatic, this is easily in my top 5. The patty was huge, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was incredible and stayed with me every single bite. I was so full, but honestly debated getting another one. The fries portion was a bit small, but they were so well-seasoned I didn’t even care. If you’re in the area, you HAVE to stop here. So worth it!
Throughout the entire time they were at the restaurant, the waitress continuously gave my daughter hostile and unfriendly looks. While all the other guests in the restaurant were served water in clear cups, my daughter was given a red cup. For the people who are favoring the restaurant, thinking the cups may be dirty, the next group received the clear cups. To make matters worse, when she politely thanked the waitress after receiving her food, the waitress ignored her but responded to the other girls. Both my daughter and her friends noticed this discriminatory behavior. A person can easily tell if they are being discriminated against and humiliated.
She is still in shock and struggling to understand why she was singled out. What breaks my heart the most is that she felt too intimidated to speak to the manager about what happened, afraid of causing a scene or drawing attention to herself. No child or adult should ever be made to feel that way.
Although we do not have the name of the waitress, we have photos and witnesses who observed the incident. I sincerely hope the management at The Victorian Grill takes this matter seriously and investigates what is happening within their establishment.
Please be reminded that under Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, businesses are prohibited from discriminating against customers based on race, color, religion, or national origin. It’s shameful that I have to refer to the 1964 code. What world do we live in where we can’t treat kids properly?
