My son wanted me to stop and get some sweet-and-sour chicken with lo mein.. He enjoyed it enough, but the next day he Was sick and barfed twice violently. He was very sick all day and still is. I think he got food poisoning, but didn’t even bother to call because I know they would just have excuses.. As they’re not very friendly! I will never go back there, glad I didn’t get anything!! Food was a 3 but only because the spring roll was so delicious the wonton soup tasted like soap or plastic the crab Rangoon was chewy and lackluster. Called customer service and she laughed and said we don’t put soap in our soup…no kidding!!

DO NOT EAT HERE. This is the most disappointed I have ever been in a Chinese place, truly. The food looks pretty, but in some kind of uncanny valley situation, it literally tastes like nothing. The bourbon chicken? Brilliantly cooked, completely unseasoned. The honey chicken? If I close my eyes and wish really hard, it might have a LaCroix-esque essence of honey, on leathery chicken in bland sauce. An hour after I ate it? Stuck on the can. Eating the leftovers today? Stuck on the can again. Either the kitchen ran out of salt and gave me last week’s food, or this is how it always is. I really don’t recommend China Star.

if i could give 0 stars i would. there was glass in my food and my tooth is chipped and now have to try and find the money to afford a dental appointment. i do not recommend coming here unless u want to eat glass and have your tooth chipped
