Such a gem of a café! The coffee here is excellent—smooth, rich, and beautifully crafted. The atmosphere is bright and relaxing, with lovely decor and a cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a slow morning or afternoon. The location is convenient, and what really makes this place stand out is the staff: incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Definitely one of my favorite spots for great coffee and a great experience!

Very and I mean VERY Poor avocado Toast in this glen cove location. Huntington spot puts avocado on it at least. This one had a light touch of avocado and was very oily! Disappointing; waste of $14.

Southdown Coffee is my favorite coffee shop on LI. The quality of the coffee, friendly staff and beautiful shops all keep me coming back.
I don’t live very close to any of their locations but love to begin a weekend at Glen Cove or Oyster Bay (expanding soon). Northport and Patchogue are also inviting spots. I recommend trying their Hot Oatmeal, Little English, Avo Toast, Grilled Cheese Avo Pesto, fresh Baked scones, bread, muffins etc. ALL are delish!

Amazing coffee, great food, awesome atmosphere, and workers and owners who actually care
But please start offering some more sugar free options!! Would love to be able to get a matcha here, but their matcha has sugar 🙁
Same with all of the syrups.
Would love some sugar free options for our diabetic peeps 🙂

Love this place. It feels like this place should be in hamptons. Plenty of space to enjoy your meal. The egg sandwich with bacon was lovely. The avocado toast had real flavor and the chickpea salad sandwich was one of the more unique items I have seen at a cafe. I would come back or recommend in a heartbeat. Wifi service is a little spotty but otherwise great place. Clean bathroom too.

The location is simple but very cool and with good vibes. The staff was friendly, the service was not very fast. I ordered a cappuccino and it was decent, also I ordered a hot meal and the portion was generous, good and healthy. I noticed that they don’t have much typical breakfast food, they should include more variations. Overall it was a nice experience, I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu but personally I won’t get the coffee again.

Pretty upset. Spent over an hour trying to connect to the wifi/asked the workers. Their response was that the wifi is “spotty”. That’s fine, it’s not their issue to fix.
However, I then checked Google reviews and it is apparent that the owners have known about the wifi being essentially non-existent for a year, at least. Seems like most people use their hotspots which is fine if the shop didn’t advertise great, free wifi.

Southdown is known for their cappuccinos. This venue has ample outdoor seating and plenty of space for large cycling groups.
The muffin sandwiches are decent. We really appreciated the self operated water tap by the entrance. Great option to refill water bottles.
The line does tend to get long and service can be a bit slow. It’s a good experience if you’re not in a rush.

First time here, walked over from my sister’s so I was exploring the neighborhood and was delighted to find such a charming, quality cafe! The cappuccino was DELICIOUS, menu has a nice variety without being overwhelming and they had several gluten free pastries, as well as a gf bread for sandwiches.
