The owner/cook was welcoming and friendly. The paper bag fried rice was great. My wife is very picky with food however this fried rice received a definitive will buy again. It was tasty and reminded us of the original Guyanese style.

i’ve been living in this area for over a decade and today is the very first day that I’ve decided to try this restaurant.. decided to order the chicken fried rice and the chicken just tasted like old rotisserie chicken and the fried rice also tasted old as well. I guess the food isn’t as fresh because they don’t get a lot of food traffic.

It was my first time trying their food. Their appetizers looked appealing but taste wasn’t great.

Jerk chicken with fried rice. That was 10/10. Very flavorful and tender chicken.
Pepper shrimp- 8/10. Good portion size and flavor. But very oily
Appetizers- chicken patty, fish ball( don’t remember name of everthing)-5/10. Very dry for me

I traveled all the way from Connecticut to try Medina Halal Restaurant, and I was not disappointed! The owner is incredibly friendly and passionate about his food, and it shows in every dish. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I was particularly impressed with the Pepper Shrimp Lo Mein, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Medina Halal Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic halal dining experience.
