Update 8/24: The food quality and service has changed. I would no longer rate it so highly or encourage a visit.

Original Post: I have had the pleasure of dining at The Cajun Leprechaun three times now and the food has been phenomenal each time. I’m a creature of habit so I get the Cajun Airline Chicken and just switch up the veggies. The Deviled eggs were so yummy and reminded me of my grandma’s recipe. The crab cakes were well-sized and delicious. It’s great to have another A+ restaurant in Downtown Montgomery. I would encourage anyone to stop by and get a great meal.
And…the service was spectacular too. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef on my last visit.

This was such a nice spot for my Mommy and Daughter Date. Located in Downtown Montgomery, they have a bar located downstairs, and when you walk upstairs, there is a DJ spot and outside seating on the balcony. I heard they have Karaoke on certain days, but I went on a Wednesday night prior to closing, so it was very quiet.
Jarvis was our waiter, and he was amazing. Service was top tier, you can’t can’t change my mind and we WILL be looking for him next time!! He doesn’t work on weekends, though, so make sure you stop by to see him and the Assistant Manager (also great energy) during weekdays!
I recommend trying the Praline Chocolate Chip Cookies and especially the Alligator Bites I LIVE for those two!!
Have fun, be safe and enjoy!

So welcoming and delicious we really enjoyed our meal and our server was very attentive from before we walked in the door. Looking forward to eating here again. I’ve always wanted to try bananas foster so I went for it. When I say the flavor and texture were amazing, I almost jumped in the bowl. My friend was skeptical but tried it and loved it too. What a treat. I love it here!

On a Sunday afternoon it was hard to tell they were open but after figuring it out me and a friend tried them out. Strange fusion choice but the theme was cool. I ordered a Reuben quesadilla with Cajun fries and sweet potato pie. A friend ordered the brunch, Cajun breakfast po boy and boudin balls. We liked everything we tried with the exception of the pie. The menu items are a nice change of pace. Going to give them a second try soon.

My friend and I decided to try out this restaurant last night and we’re glad we did. Food was great and service was on point. Drinks came out quickly to the table and so did the food. Ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and I had the lagniappe as my meal with a cup of the seafood bisque. Everything was delish.

I started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese dip, and they were the perfect appetizer. The pretzels were soft and chewy, and the beer cheese dip was rich and creamy. It was a delicious combination that set the stage for the main course.
For my entree, I had the “For the Love of Cajun Po’boy,” and it was absolutely incredible. The bread was fresh and toasted to perfection, and the filling was packed with flavor. The combination of Cajun spices and the tender, juicy meat was simply mouthwatering.
Overall, my experience at The Cajun Leprechaun was fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

The portion sizes are ample and the food was amazing. The best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had!The omelet is also in a league of its own.The mimosa service was worth every dollar! The restaurant also offers lunch and dinner as well.Easily a fave five for the area!

The service was fantastic! I was greeted and sat immediately. Took the recommendation of corn beef and cabbage and I will say it was really good and the flavor was amazing! Downside is that some of my potatoes were hard and uncooked. Cabbage was a little cold but had so much flavor it was my favorite part. I also ordered beignets and I recommend you pass! Flat fried gummy something that resembled dumplings not a traditional fluffy beignet at all.

Dined here with friends and family for the first time to try it out. I ordered fried green tomatoes and airline chicken, and my daughter had a cajun pasta. The tomatoes were different with so many toppings on it, and the presentation was scrumptious. The only thing is that the breading wasn’t seasoned. The airline chicken came with yams, greens, and cornbread muffin. This meal was delicious. Those yams and greens were seasoned just right. The only thing with this one was that the chicken wasn’t seasoned, more bland but seared just right. Wish the chicken would’ve been seasoned to compliment it. The cornbread was good, just what I expected, especially with those greens. My daughter had the cajun pasta, and boy, was it SPICY. She took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. I tried it, and it had a kick beyond spicy. End up bringing it home and will try to adjust the spiciness. I would have to say the best part of my dinner was the yams and greens. If I revisit this spot, more likely, I’ll be going for the yams, greens, and cornbread. Here’s a glimpse of our dinner in the photos I’m attaching. All in all, I do recommend you try this spot when you want something different than the norm. I think our server name was Lisa or Linda. Don’t worry. When I figure it out, I’ll edit this review. 🙂

Great food! The food was so good yesterday at lunch. It was so good that I came back today for dinner. Food and service was great two days in a row. I try Shrimp and Grits at every restaurant I go to. The one I had tonight has set the bar high. I tried my fiancé’s Pasta and it was delicious. The food is flavorful. I can’t wait to go back next week.
