We held my dad’s celebration of life at the Brown Hut, because it was among his favorite bars. The event was an epic party that couldn’t have honored him better, the food was amazing, and the bar even accommodated a band on the fly. Great bar, great people, and perfect for a mid sized gathering.

Nice country bar, didn’t try the food so the reason for no rating on that. Not a lot of choices for drinks but if you’re looking to get away from town this a good place to stop.

Geesh….the lack of food safety training is truly scary. The girl who was making my dinner kept wiping her nose, scratching her arms and playing with her hair while cooking. Canceled and just drank from sealed cans.

The food was fine. There was a pitiful, drunk, obnoxious woman at the bar. The bartender would not tell her to lower her voice or to stop the nonstop flow of obscenities that came out of her mouth. Some of the regulars came by to apologize for her rude behavior. The bar should have stopped this pitiful creature. The men using the restroom did not close the door behind them so unfortunately we all have to experience that awful site and scent. Hopefully we will never have to suffer that again.
