I have been here a few times, and the food is enjoyable. This time I had the pork steak. It was tasty, however I was not expecting it to be on a bone, which severely shrunk the portion size. There was too much bone and not enough meat. The banana chips were flavorful. However, I wish they had not put the meat on top of the chips because they became soggy. I enjoyed the tamale, but I am not used to having rice inside a tamale. Perhaps it is a Honduran thing, and I am not familiar with the culture. The server was nice and smiled. I did find it a bit strange that you have to pay for your food at a register. Most sit-down restaurants perform the transaction at the table. I will return to this location to try a few of the other dishes.

Love this hidden gem. Waited a while for our food but it was well worth it. Absolutely devoured the fried chicken. Also got the sweet plantain which were amazing and cooked well.

I had a great experience here! I found this restaurant through Epic Eats on Instagram. My husband and I have been trying new restaurants in our backyard. I hate going to the Southside for excellent and authentic international food. This place was HITTING. This is what we ordered:

Pescado Frito – Whole Tilapia with banana chips, cabbage salad, & rice and beans
Desayuno Hondureno – Honduras Breakfast (steak, eggs, plantains, & refried beans)
Tacos Hondureno – (chicken tacos with toppings)
Catrachitas – (chips, beans, cream, & cheese)

The Tilapia was JUICY and had a fantastic flavor. I’ve never had real banana chips. Just the store-bought ones, and these were so delicious. I am sold. The rice and beans were so flavorful. We have Jamaican heritage, so this was appreciated. The steak was so juicy and tasted perfect. The plantains were good, moist, sweet, and just right for your taste buds. The refried beans are the best I’ve ever had in my lifetime. The Chips with all the toppings were terrific as well. They DID NOT disappoint. Also, the Tacos were the BEST. Those toppings were so good. We dipped our chips in what was left over. I will be coming back to this place. It is now going to be a staple for us. They are very reasonably priced, and they LOAD your plates! It’s not stingy at all. Thank you guys!! Anybody who says this food and this place isn’t good is LYING and a HATER!!!

I am from Honduras and had been craving authentic food from home. Let me tell you this is the first ever Honduran restaurant that it is 100% authentic. The savory dishes will make you feel like you’re back home! Everything was so delicious and ever since my fist visit I’ve been going back to try every single item on the menu. Something I will say it’s that music was way too loud and it made it hard to talk.

Food 3/5: I’d recommend the Pargo Rojo ( pan fried whole red snapper) on a bed of banana chips served along with salad, rice and bean. Fish was quite small but I liked the texture and it was flavorful. Wings were coated with too much flour made them hard to eat. Pollo con tajadas was saucy and but the fried chicken failed me again. I also really liked the guanábana drink here – must try! I wanted to try maracuya (passion fruit) drink but they didn’t have it that day. I’d come back for the maracuya, red snapper and their Sunday’s signature dish Sopas de mariscos con coco.
Service 5/5: friendly, fast and attentive
Ambiance 5/5: casual atmosphere, fun vibe

Overpriced and gross. Not sure of the hygiene standards as nobody wears gloves or washes their hands. Also-little kids come tearing out of the place into the parking lot right in front of moving cars. Darwinism at its finest. Absolutely avoid. Can’t recommend. Hope this place closes for business soon.

With utmost respect, I must express that this establishment surpasses Sueño Latino. The culinary offerings exhibit heightened vibrancy, enticing our return to explore the entirety of the diverse menu. The exceptional humility displayed by the staff further elevates the overall experience.

I love this place! The food is delicious. The drinks are too. You have to wait a while for your food but it’s beyond worth it. I loved our waitress. She was simply the best. I will be going again.
