My husband and I I signed up for the chef dinner special for our 26th anniversary. All I can say is wow – the staff at Manger knocked it out of the park. A home run!
Each of the 5 courses was unique and special. See attached menu for descriptions
We chose to do the optional wine pairing with dinner. Omg! So glad we did. Each pairing was fantastic but my husband and I were floored by the dessert wine pairing. They only have 2 bottles left (we asked) so if you want to try it, get to the restaurant soon!

Exceptional food with a beautiful warm atmosphere. Our server Jess made everything perfect for our mid week date night. The ambience of the room coupled with the bold fresh flavors make this Place our new hidden gym for us. We had the oyster, Rockefeller, braised, short rib, lobster, Thermidor, and Caesar salad..
The Manger is hands-down one of the best high-end restaurants we’ve been to in the Valley. Can’t wait to come back!

My friend took me to Manger last Friday night 12/5. I had flown in from NYC and excited to try out a nice restaurant in MN. By far this had to of been the best restaurant and wine experience I have had in my 23 years of living in the states. The atmosphere was so warm and cozy. Our waitress was so kind and knew what to recommend. Our wine was carefully selected by Chef Mike which was pared perfectly with our food. I have been to restaurants all over the world and nothing compared to the quality of food at Manger. My friend encouraged me to order the oysters which I never usually like, but these ones at Manger were so delicious and flavorful. In fact, they were so good we ordered them twice over. I will definitely be back again on my next visit out there.

Last night’s cioppino was far and away the best I’ve had in the 50 years since my first bowl in New Haven CT. not just good. excellence! Ingenuous. Sumptuous broth!!!
If you’d prefer the steak frîtes, another amazing choice. Or the burger.

Mike and his staff catered my 50th birthday dinner this past weekend! The food was outstanding!! Mike and the crew went above and beyond to take care of all of us! Ayer just one conversation and one meeting before the event, they came in and pulled off this event dinner for 30 flawlessly! Then they continue to host the rest of the evening with 30 more guests with enthusiasm and attentiveness. Hiring Manger for this event was the BEST decision I have ever made for an event!! Thank you Mike and Manger for being so wonderful and making my birthday one I’ll always cherish!!!

Took a friend out to celebrate her birthday. Had heard good things about Manger and was NOT disappointed. From the efficient and extremely friendly service from Clare to the excellent meal from Chef Jack, it was perfect from start to finish. The staff made a pleasant evening perfect and made the birthday girl feel like a queen. Can not recommend Manger enough and will definitely return (when the weather is a bit warmer! ).

My husband and I went here for a date night. We got the Chef’s Counter. It was a 5 course meal with dishes that aren’t on the regular menu. Every dish was amazing and the portions were big. We left full! We also did the wine pairings which were great! The chef, Mike, and Sous Chef were so knowledgeable about all of the dishes and wine pairings. They even talked to us about all the dishes and how the wine compliments them. We had a great time and recommend this to everyone. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our dinner at Manger! Delicious oysters Rockefeller followed by the cod and braised beef. We had a wonderful bottle of Sancerre, too. We finished with the espresso crème brûlée, but it wasn’t our favorite dessert. We will definitely return. It reminds us of France.

It was just okay. I didn’t really think the food was exceptional for the price. We ordered the Rockefeller oyster and it had this weird, stale taste that all 3 of us didn’t like. Also the duck was overly sweet and not well balanced at all. The steak was cook to the right temp but there wasn’t anything exceptional to it and fries were overly salty. I’m just comparing this to other higher end restaurant I had have in the past and I can say this was my least favorite. We also order the scallop, folie gras, pasta, and the steak frites which brought our total to $270 plus we tip 20% on top for good service. I wouldn’t come back because the food was just okay and I expected a lot more for similar place to this price range. Our favorite dish was the folie gras.
