I recently moved to Tyler and mentioned I was looking for a great cappuccino that didn’t involve the commercialized Starbucks, Dutch Bros. or 7 Coffee on every corner, and this little gem called Laurel & Pearl was highly recommended. Before I could go there, I asked several ladies in the neighborhood about it and of course they all raved about the Monte Cristo Slider and Chicken Salad Slider so that sealed the deal. My Mom and I went the very next day / yesterday afternoon and we walked into what felt like being in Paris, including the eye candy of so many varieties of baked goods! Having a French Bulldog as a mascot helped seal the deal for me (since I have 2 of them at home) and before I even had a sip of their fantastic cappuccino or a bite of the fabulous Chicken Salad Slider (for me) and the Monte Cristo Slider (for my Mom but of course we shared them), I felt a peace and calm come over me like I was coming home. The staff behind the counter were so kind when I told them it was our first time there and I loved their positive energy and welcomes. The only reason I gave the service 4**** instead of 5***** is because I had to get up multiple times to get our silverware and then napkins, etc.instead of having them brought to us with the food. As I was leaving, I wanted to take some pictures to write a review because that is “my thing” and I started talking to the couple sitting a few tables over from us. They mentioned they knew the owners and told me the story of how Laurel & Pearl came to be born. I hope they mention to Mandy how much I love their little slice of heaven but if not, I wanted to note it here. Maybe I’ll try to get a job there …. hmmm, now that is a thought! All I do know, is this will become a regular place for me and I’ll be picking up beignets on Tuesday when I am down the street for an appointment. NOTE: We did take almond croissants and several Banana Cream Pie Frenchies to go and will enjoy them over the next few days! I don’t expect them to be anything but SPECTACULAR based on my previous experience! YUM YUM YUM AND MORE TO COME

Visiting Tyler for a few hours and stopped by Laurel & Pearl Bakery. The aesthetics is absolutely gorgeous, quaint and cozy! Customer service I received was good as a first time guest who didn’t know what I wanted with the vast options offered.

My friend surprised me with cupcakes from Laurel & Pearl Bakery for my birthday, and I was honestly blown away. These were some of the prettiest desserts I’ve ever seen, so delicate, detailed, and beautifully decorated. And they tasted even better than they looked! Every flavor was rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend Laurel & Pearl for any special occasion.

I took my mom to this fun spot we saw on social media and it was so cute! I do love supporting local but the price I paid for lunch was unreasonable in my opinion. We ordered 2 chicken salad sandwiches (it came with no sides) and paid extra for a drink. When I was handed the food it was served on a tea cup saucer, so you know that sandwich was small. I asked if that was it and the lady looked at me as if I was ignorant and said “yeah, it’s very filling”. Cute place but when I pay $24 for a lunch I absolutely did NOT expect portions so small.

Best cronuts I’ve had in my life! I’ve been to France and can attest to the craftsmanship of these baked goods. I love bringing my family here and highly recommend for sure.
Quality espresso as well.

Laurel & Pearl in Tyler, TX is a true gem tucked inside a shopping center with a high-end vibe. The space itself is small but beautifully curated—whimsical wall art, cake stands displayed along the back wall, and an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled on something special.

The food? Absolutely unforgettable. Every bite tastes like it was created with love and care—flavors so good you’ll find yourself thinking about them long after it’s over. It’s the kind of food that lingers in your memory, the kind you dream about.

We actually drove in from Dallas based solely on TikTok buzz, and it was worth every mile. Not a shred of disappointment—only delight. Meeting the owner was an added bonus: She was warm, engaging, and genuinely thrilled to hear we enjoyed our experience. Their joy at going viral is well-deserved, and their passion shines through in every detail.

Laurel & Pearl is more than a place to eat—it’s an experience. Worth every penny, every bite, and every trip. If you’re anywhere near East Texas, do yourself a favor and go.

Enjoyed a Euro-Southern cup and delicious granola yogurt. I went around opening time and it was quite peaceful. Dozens of delicious fresh pastries. I will be coming back to enjoy! It’s a quiet spot to enjoy a drink, relax and reflect. The owners were kind and very welcoming.

I went with my daughter for lunch and she ordered 2 chicken salad sandwiches, which were on a tiny biscuit about 2”x2” and came with no sides. She asked if it was supposed to come with any sides and she said no, you did not order the combo. When we came in we told them this was our first time to visit their shop and asked for suggestions but none were given except to look at the menu. Very cute store but way over priced and not very helpful,.

I originally discovered this place through the “Too Good 2 Go” app. I paid $5.99 for a random surprise bag of goodies totaling about $20 worth. I’m so glad I did! Now I look forward to ordering from here on the app and even purchasing additional items to try that aren’t included because it’s just THAT good! The staff is so friendly, inviting, and helpful. Can’t wait to see what’s in my next goodie bag. Thanks Laurel & Pearl!
