# 2 My second review of this place with the new owners. Great place to get a dessert and just sit down and enjoy on the patio. The raspberry and pineapple twist was really Great and tasted fresh.. had this same twist a few weeks ago at a place in Fremont. This is better tasting then there’s. And yes I do recommend this place. David had the butter finger twister and says it is really Great also.

#1 with old owners… It was delicious I had the shredded chicken sandwich and a strawberry twist waffle cone. You get a lot of ice cream for the money. Plus David had a chill dog and the same ice cream. Will be going back there and yes I Recommend it great prices for what you get.

Great place for ice cream or lunch. Just wish there were more seats outside. 2 tables out front and usually have someone at them. But don’t let that take away from the good service they have and the great food and ice cream they serve. They have the drive thru and the walk up window. So service is always fast.

First time visit. I purchased a med. Twister, reese cup with chocolate ice cream. Loaded wirh candy. Was quite a wait as it was 315ish.
Been a few more times. Definitely disappointed! I always get the twist, almost no reeses in it, basically had a cup of ice cream with a few chunks of chocolate in it. NOT worth $5+ and a tip!

Ordered our items when it was pretty dead (1 car in drive thru) some people behind us in line we got our items after everyone one else that ordered after us and they where melted and dripping like my wifes cup had cracked while they made it and the double cupped it and it leaked into the second cup. Used to love this place when i was a kid. Will never be back

I stopped at The Twist yesterday for the first time since the new owners have taken over. I grew up in Clyde and the Twistee Treat was a hometown favorite. I remember how extensive the food menu was and we went for dinner only to find that only food items offered were hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches. The original Twistee Treat had the best mozzarella sticks!
Upon looking at the menu, I got so excited to see Flier cookies listed. If you’re from Clyde, you know how nostalgic Flier cookies are! I was so excited that I got two! I was extremely disappointed. While they are good chocolate chip cookies, they are absolutely not Flier cookies. The owners should consider getting with the high school cafeteria ladies or re-naming the cookies. Next time I will definitely try some ice cream!

I’ve always wanted to get ice cream here since it’s shaped like an ice cream cone on the side of the highway. Turns out, it was the best ice cream I’ve had all summer! I had a hot fudge sundae with sprinkle krunch kote and they did not disappoint! There was lots of hot fudge and sprinkles all the way to the bottom!

This is a true 1 star ice cream joint. The ice cream is minimal quality at best and honestly tasted a little off. When i went there i got some flurries for the kids and a slushy and a float and a cone. The cone tasted very old. It was hard and had a rubber like texture to it. The 1 star is for the service… They were very nice there but it was extremely disappointing when i went there for a twist cone and the twist machine was not working along with the stale cone and the price of the ice cream… I would never go back there and luckily i don’t live close by there so i probably never wil
