A quaint restaurant with a fun, energetic front counter employee.
Once we placed our order, we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes. It didn’t seem that long. The chicken and waffle fries were so hot, we had to wait for it to cool off a bit. The meal was a great price, only $10, for 3 big chicken strips, waffle fries, and a canned soda. The chicken strips were real chicken breast strips. The flavor of the chicken was more robust and tasted better than similar chicken restaurants

The gentleman who runs the store was very welcoming and accommodating. He was patient with me and even allowed me some samples.
My sandwich was good, but I was disappointed to realize it was made from tenders and not a single breast cutlet. I had really wanted to sink my teeth into a thick piece of meat. The bread was very soft. The honey mustard sauce was lovely. The fries were hot and fresh, but nothing exciting.
I would return again to try something else.
I tasted the macaroni and cheese and was pleasantly surprised by it.
I found this place because I was searching for someplace to get a grilled chicken sandwich and I really wanted something fresh and not filled with preservatives.
This location/chain is sure to do well!

This platter was 15$ , I went there at around 3 which was lunch time they said combos were 9.99 I end up spending 15$ for all of this NOT including a drink the Mac and cheese had no taste at all quite literally and the chicken was not crispy and super dry , mad chicken is overpriced and also not worth the hype I do not recommend going here. Food is mediocre and prices are terrible.

The chicken strips are Amazing they are seasoned and juicy. Cheese curds are pretty good too. 4 stars because the chicken wings are on the smaller side and we felt the mac and cheese might need a little salt.

This place used to be a teriyaki chicken bowl type place… this was even better.
Kept it simple and got the tenders and curds. A few minute and food was still too to eat. Personal preference, I didn’t care for the parmesan garlic sauce.

So first of all I found this place because it was open late where most other restaurants close early, they were open till 3:00 a.m. on a Friday. That’s bonus points for me.
So I kept it simple I got a four tender combo with the standard waffle fries and a drink.
Whenever I go someplace I usually get the basic things to start or maybe a staple for the type of food they’re serving.
I got the four chicken tenders and they were the full tender, they were significantly larger than something you would get at Chick-fil-A or PDQ. They were perfectly seasoned and perfectly salted, which is actually pretty uncommon nowadays.
The fries were anything to write home about but they weren’t bad.
Next time I visit my friend nearby I’m definitely stopping by again, the prices are reasonable for the quantity of food you get which is a lot.

Mad Chicken delivered a strong lunch experience with flavorful food, welcoming staff, and solid value for the price.
Food: I ordered the lunch special (2 tenders, fries, drink), and my wife went with the Mad Fire sandwich. Portions were generous, and the waffle fries were especially good. Enough food that we had leftovers. The sandwich was messy but packed with flavor. Biggest letdown? The spicy sauces didn’t deliver the heat we expected. Tasty, but not anything close to what I’d call spicy.
Service: Staff was friendly and helpful. They explained the menu, shared specials, and made the ordering process easy. They did push hard for a review, but as a fellow business owner, I understand the hustle.
Ambiance: It’s a fast-casual spot with a small dining area. Unfortunately, the soda machine was glitching. The ice dispenser didn’t work properly, and one of the fountain options kept spraying. Minor, but frustrating nonetheless.
Value for Price: On par with other chicken joints. No complaints; good food, solid portion sizes, fair price.
Cleanliness: Looked clean throughout. About what you’d expect from a well-run fast-casual spot.
Pro Tip:
Try different sauces if you’re a spice-lover. Their “hot” wasn’t quite hot enough. For spice reference, I love the Cajun seasoning at Wingstop because it has some heat, but it’s still enjoyable.
Would I return?
For sure. I’ll be back to test more of their menu and hopefully hunt down that heat.

Let’s be honest, chicken is everywhere these days, but this place is a tasty addition to chicken only offerings. I was pleasantly surprised because it’s house flavor breading is unique and really does taste like some home cooking.
There are a selection of sauces, categorized by heat index, and they were sweet enough to give us a free sample of their “mad sauce” to try with our choices. And speaking of sweet, the guy managing the place is really friendly and attentive.
I ate the Mad fries, which is literally a Mashup of fries and chopped chicken breast with Shredded cheese and your sauce choice (I did a mustard style BBQ, think Carolina gold), and it was a bigger portion than you see in the pic on the board. Super tasty, though I hear the tots are just as good as the waffle fries…

I’ve had a good experience at Mad Chicken. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I usually get the Mad Rice bowl, and it’s always been solid and filling. The flavors are good, and it’s been a reliable spot when I’m in the mood for chicken and rice.
