I’ve eaten here before and had a good experience. The chicken tikka was standard, which is why I decided to return and try something new. It was late at night, so I asked the manager for a recommendation. He confidently suggested the beef curry, emphasizing the freshness of the meat.

Unfortunately, the dish was extremely disappointing. It was overly oily, and the beef itself was clearly poor quality. It was filled with tough, inedible organ tissue, tubes, and gristle that made it nearly impossible to chew (see attached photo). It felt less like a recommendation and more like an attempt to offload the worst cuts of meat.

Hoping to give the place another chance, I returned the next day to share my concerns and maybe try a different dish. However, the customer service made the experience even worse. Rather than offering any apology or even a small goodwill discount, I was simply told to “come back when the manager is here.”

If you’re looking for quality food and respectful service, I recommend Curry Leaf just around the corner. It’s also no frills, but with much better food and a staff that actually cares about the customer experience. I won’t be returning here.

If you like to eat Indian cuisine very late night upon either dining or take out in Center City Philly, then this is the place. A diverse varieties of curry flavors, meat, and veggie selections. The meats and veggies are chunky to be well proportions. Naan bread is fresh dough to place inside a oven to be served as crispy and soft tenderness. Mango Lassi is authentically homemade for drinking after a good hearty meal to digest and smooth your stomach.

I’ve ordered take out from here a couple times, and the food has always been good. The garlic naan and rice are on point, and the paneer dishes I’ve ordered have been very flavourful. Just wish there was a bit more paneer, but I know cheese is expensive right now.

We ordered Tandori mixed platter the meets tasted so old and rubber like. Not fresh at all. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great flavors, lamb and chicken were both tender. Dessert wasn’t too sweet but satisfied our cravings.

Overall a great experience, especially since they were the only restaurants opened late on Christmas Eve!

We have visited this place during our trip for quick bite ! It was great down town near place but tough to get parking in a street ! Food perspective great food ! Well cooked ! Great taste ! They made food how we describe to them. Good place to visit and enjoy Indian food ! Lot of chicken ,Lamb and veg varieties but less fish in the menu. Price is decent ! Might be get higher soon due to inflation!

Stopped by this place for a quick bite during our short trip, and everything was surprisingly delicious. I ordered the butter chicken, rosemary naan, and a mango laasi: all was delicious. I’m pretty picky about cleanliness, but it was okay.

It was hot outside this evening, 89 F at 8 pm. It was hot inside the restaurant too, uncomfortably so. Food was OK, tamarind chutney was bad tasting. My spinach & panir was good. The peas & panir Was runny & panir under done. Noisy & small place. Nice people. Parking is difficult.

My friends and I went to this place for dinner and lunch. We ordered biryani, tandoori chicken, keema naan, garlic naan, paneer tikka masala and some drinks. Overall the quantity and quality of food is good. We dint like samosa chat, chicken pakora and malai tikka. They dint have any staff but still able to manage the orders on time so great service I would say. Overall recommended place for food lovers.
