Wonderful service at a small town grill!

Typical small-town grill, nothing amazing about the food, but definitely nothing disappointing. The service is amazing, friendly and attentive.

I was here early in the morning driving through for a work trip. This place was rated highly and I needed breakfast.
They have a limited menu, but all the basics, and I had some eggs, biscuits and gravy, and smoked sausage.
Everything was edible, but not “like mama made it” kind of flavor.
There was one woman covering the grill, and she was working quickly, but I can see how it would take a long time for an order during peak times, since they are cooking everything to order.
The place is nicely kept, seating for 40 or 50 people and everyone was so incredible!
I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but if you are in the area and just need a solid breakfast, this one will do.

I’m a fan of this country grocery styled eatery in Phillips county Arkansas. There aren’t many restaurants there but this one has great hand patted burger served fresh off the grill. If you find yourself nearby and want a good burger, give them a try.

I’m very upset with the service and the quality of my dinner. I ordered 2jumbo burgers only to be told they only have one size. It was the size of 3 powdered doughnuts. I also ordered 2 fries which I did not get by the way. This was brought to my attention after my spouse arrived at home and was plating our dinner only to find out he had only one fry. And I’m confused as to how a green house that grows tomatoes and sells tomatoes would give their customers a slice of paper thin tomato on their burger? And I do mean paper thin. So I can say if you want meat only I think they may be a winner for you.

What a cute stop! I had a delicious burger, and the sunflowers and pumpkins were stunning. That being said, I waited an hour for my food. There were LOTS of people there when I visited (I think some school field trips). The ladies behind the counter were working extremely hard, but it was still an unusually long wait for a burger and fries. I’d definitely go back but would avoid if there were crowds.

It was our first time dining at Southern Outdoors in Barton, and we had a great experience. The place is inviting, offering a variety of food options, including freshly sliced fruits. They prepare sandwiches and pizzas upon order, ensuring everything is fresh and hot. There’s also ample parking available on the side of the store, which adds to the convenience.

I can’t tell you how the food tastes, I wanted biscuits and gravy at 11am and because I couldn’t find it listed anywhere when breakfast ends, I drove the 15 minutes to order. I left with nothing. The place looks neat on the inside and the young man said they have lunch plates, but I wasn’t offered a menu or anything, so I wouldn’t know what’s actually served there. I probably won’t be back. They seem to have enough “regulars” that they wouldn’t miss a newcomer anyway. Go at your own risk, I can’t speak for this one otherwise.

Couldn’t find a decent place to eat and we came upon this place that we give it a try. It was Friday night and I had a seafood cookout. I had the crab legs which came with corn potatoes, and sausage.
The flavor was to die for !
They also had pan full of crawfish. I did have it, but it looked delicious.

Work trip out of town from Nashville. Ate here two days in a row and the ladies working were so nice! They work hard in there, it is the go-to place in the area it seems like, so they have plenty of orders to fill but got our food out reasonably timed and tasted excellent! Again, service was great and the place has a home town feeling to it! Items I had that I recommend are the Philly cheesesteak and chicken tender wrap with buffalo sauce 🙂
