Worst Pizza Ever! Ordered the Marco Pollo supposedly with homemade marinara sauce, garlic butter, red onion and special chicken with herbs topped with fresh mozzarella. It was dry and tasteless. What a waste of money. Doesn’t look like the description that’s for sure.

Right when we walked in our server took charge, grabbing a booster seat for our 1 year old. Took our drink orders and got them to us promptly. Apps came out in 6-7 min, and our pizza right behind. Now I’m a bit spoiled having tasted some of the best pie in the state. Needless to say I was disappointed by the hype given to the food. Don’t let this Stop you from going though. The place is very kid friendly with a decent vegetarian/vegan accommodation built into the menu. Also the service is fast and polite with an ice cream bar with a decent selection. A table away from the bustling kids area would be ideal if you desire a more peaceful meal. In conclusion, not a bad place to eat if you have a few extra bucks just don’t expect high end product.

The food here is pretty good. Great pizza selection, but the quality of ingredients is reflected in the price. I have never had a particularly great experience with staff either. Regardless it’s a good location to bring kids because of the play area.

The pizza from Roman Candle has been consistently good. The crust is crisp with only a little bit of char and the toppings have been fresh and tasty.
There is a good amount of cheese used on the pie. Quality pizza at a reasonable price.
The staff is friendly and quick. They always have a smile and greet you at the door.

I ordered a takeout one Saturday night in January. I was told the pizza would be ready in a half hour. When I arrived, there were 3 other people waiting for carry out. It turns out they had been waiting 40 minutes. One guy finally goes ballistic and the manager has to refund him his money. When my turn comes, the manager refunds me my money. I get my pizza about 45 minutes late but free. The pizza really wasn’t that good. About a month later, I get a charge for 15.75 from Roman candle on my debit card. SWEET!

My family and I eat here regularly on Friday nights, and have for nearly two years. It’s a great place to take your kids: there’s a play area for them that my kids enjoy, and there’s often other children there for them to play with. My wife and I appreciate the occasional moments of silence and time for uninterrupted conversation. The pizza is always very good, the staff is friendly and remembers us: it’s a minor highlight of our week.
I have noticed service be somewhat uneven, depending on which servers are available on a given night. Twice in the past year my family and I have left because of how long it was taking for them to get to our table and take our orders. Most nights are really good, but we’ve definitely had a few bad experiences as well.

Never heard of this place before, so decided to try it out. Great pizza, great atmosphere, family friendly, but most of all the service was incredible. Our waiter sensed that we had never been there before and took the time to explain all the menu options.
It was my son’s 12th birthday and the waiter whispered to my wife would he like a piece of cake and ice cream, to my sons surprise.
Will definitely go back when in the area

This was our first visit to the Roman candle and it won’t be our last. Our server James did a great job introducing us to the menu and everything was fantastic. The homemade red pepper soup was chunky and delicious. We got the BBQ chicken pizza and it was perfect, with just the right amount of BBQ sauce as to not be messy, yet still delicious. I would highly recommend this place 🙂
