Remember… Always…
I am in the process of trying to bring everyone I know here. We have been to several other Japanese inspired places but the food here is as close to what we were eating when we were visiting Japan. The people are friendly and the service is quick. The food is delicious. This is definitely one of my new go to places.

Great food and selection of flavors! Loved the atmosphere! Friendly service, though it was very busy, and the waiters were overwhelmed in keeping up with everyone.. Highly recommend getting a reservation ahead of time. Otherwise, we did think it was more expensive than similar ramen places in the area.

Our first visit was lovely : ) We were lookin for vegan options (of which there were very few). The veggie gyoza were fantastic, all in presentation, texture & flavor. The vegetable ramen was equally awesome— bamboo like I’d never had, the thin tofu totally mouth-watering… very impressive ♥️ We’ll make the trek from Longmont for the occasional special occasion

We had a last minute dinner event here. The place was able to accommodate our large party with just a short notice. We had a variety of food items, Appetizers, Ramen, and Skewers as well as drinks. I can say I tried almost everything on the menu as it was my first time having sushi and it was all delicious.
The staff was patient and very attentive even with our large party of 25. The food was served very quickly and the staff took excellent care of us. My favorite dish was the heart attack.
Overall, we had a great dinning experience.

Four out of five people in my party (myself included) were violently ill within 48 hours of our visit to Shin Yuu Izakaya. Despite the delay, there’s no doubt this was the location that caused it since that was the one time that night we the same room eating the same meal together. The only other place we visited that evening was Sweet Cow for individual servings. There were plenty of other people at SC so I think we would’ve seen reviews by now if they had caused the sickness. Also, the lychee martini basically just felt like vodka with some syrup in it, which is kind of ridiculous for an expensive cocktail… Made me wonder if there was a new 99 Lychee liqueur on the market. It was painfully strong in a way that reminded me of when I didn’t know how to make drinks in college.
Service was great. The food tasted great, but ultimately I have never been sicker in my entire life. Symptoms were vomiting, fever and stomach pain. I had no respiratory issues at all. I eat a lot of sushi and never have experienced such a shock.

Ordered the Vegetable Ramen and the broth was only HALF as much as you would normally expect. It wasn’t a soup as much as a dipping sauce at that point.
I also ordered a curry tonkasu and the amount of curry it came with was MORE than the ramen broth!!
The host told me the manager said that was the “normal” amount of broth that comes in the Ramen. Look at that picture and decide for yourself if this is worth $18.
Feeling disappointed with their stinginess.

Will be coming back again for happy hour, lunch or dinner. I am so impressed with the nigiri, sushi and the specials. Looking forward to trying their ramen and yakitori as well! The service is great but it’s the sushi quality that stood out for me. No longer treks to Denver to find high quality sushi.

The sushi was delicious as was the dessert. Both were presented beautifully. Our favorite was the hot tower sushi roll. It definitely takes skill to make this food art. Thank you, Jorge, for a job well done.

Their fresh, quality sushi was perfect for an intimate date night. Great for small groups and dates.
I also enjoyed the Yakitori options they offered. Check them out! The yakitori beef and charred asparagus were great bites to go along with our sushi.
Chefs choice sushi and genmaicha green tea, it was perfect. Thank you to Shin Yuu Izakaya for a lovely night. Your team took very good care of us.

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Shin Yuu Izakaya, a new local Japanese restaurant in downtown Louisville, and it exceeded all expectations. The Chicken Karaage was a delightful start – crispy on the outside, yet incredibly juicy on the inside, showcasing a perfect balance of textures. The atmosphere was inviting, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience. The staff provided exceptional and friendly service, adding to the positive ambiance.
The Kuro Ramen was an absolute highlight, and I would consider it a must-try. The seasoning was excellent, hitting the spot with each flavorful slurp. Although my tummy had absolutely no space left, the mere glimpse and enticing aroma of the Yakitori convinced me that it’s a must-try on my next visit.
This new spot undoubtedly has the potential to become one of Colorado’s go-to Japanese restaurants. I look forward to returning repeatedly to savor more of their offerings. Cheers to a successful grand opening, and here’s to many more delicious meals at this fantastic establishment!
