Very authentic Chinese cuisine. If you are a big fan of spicy food, I would definitely recommend. The flavor is one of the best in Boston area, with large portions and reasonable price. The lady who served us was also nice and attentive.

The food was very authentic Chinese and delicious. However, when we gave a 15% tip, the lady looked unhappy. Tipping should start at 18%.

The food is very delicious and I recommend this restaurant to people who love spicy food. If you order spicy cold jelly noodles I recommend you make sure you have a plate full of rice and glass full of water because this dish is probably the most spicy food in the United States. The service is good but it takes 20-30 min for the food to arrive. The atmosphere is amazing, with extremely beautiful light fixtures with color changing LED lights. WARNING ⚠️ the front door gets jammed sometimes and you have to bang on the door for a waitress to come and open the door.

It is one of the best Chinese food restaurants you can choose if you like spicy food. The food is tasty, and the service is fine. The price is great for the food and you have a lot of choices for real traditional Chinese food. The space of this place is big and there are usually not wait lines if you arrive around 6 pm. Very good place to visit and recommend to friends

I knew the owner was going to open this place two years ago while visiting their first restaurant in Wakefield. Although with a different chef, the dishes are similar. Some good and some just okay.
Our favorite was the Large Intestines Dry Wok Style (干锅肥肠). The intestines were cleaned well, stewed then stir fried perfectly, tender yet little chewy. The hot and sour beef is very nice. The steamed pork ribs with stick rice needs about 20 minutes, but kids loved it.
On the other hand, the Chicken in Spicy Sauce was so so, the sauce was bit flat with mostly soy sauce flavor. The Peppers with Preserved Egg is okay, the peppers weren’t roasted to have the char flavor. Instead of bunch of small bowls of rice, we asked for a large bowl. It came out in this giant flat bowl which the rice got cold quickly.
Service was good. They do need more people in the kitchen to keep up.

Pork intestines dry pot was so good! It was fragrant and very spicy. Loved the texture of the intestines. Braised pork belly had a good portion size and it was also good. We also tried Changsha shumai out of curiosity. I didn’t like it because it smelled old (couldn’t know whether it came from the rice paper or the sticky rice filling), but it didn’t matter to my husband. We will definitely return!

Great experience here. Very authentic. The restaurant is much larger inside than the store front looks. And the wait staff were very attentive. Everything we tried was amazing, and I appreciate that the menu had pictures for every single item. Definitely excited to be coming back soon.

It is one of the great Hunan restaurants in MA. Food was fresh and tasty looking authentic. Price was reasonable. Liked their interior design to be rather funky for a kitchen. But seats by the bar were great to enjoy watching tennis while eating. Server was kind and friendly checking us on the dining and water. There were some street parkings by chance near the restaurant.

Very disappointing experience. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. there were only two tables occupied and plenty of open seats, but the hostess still told us we’d need to wait 20 minutes. When we were finally seated, the food was mediocre and the waitress was inattentive. She brought us a dish we never ordered, and when we tried to check out, no staff were around. We had to walk to the front desk, where the receptionist made us wait another 10 minutes just to print the bill only to say she wasn’t our waitress. Extremely poor service from start to finish. Definitely not worth the visit.

Very good 湖南 [Hunan] style food. Pork liver, jelly noodles, cumin lamb, ceramic pot chicken all excellent. Especially liked the pig’s ear with pickled pepper (no apologies necessary to Peter Piper). FOH staff were great, helpful suggestions.
