Tried this venue this past March after learning my lesson during the fall of last year trying to look for a breakfast/brunch restaurant along the vicinity of hwy 50 on a Sunday late morning.
I work 3rd shift and normally start early on Sunday nights but was off that night so told my wife the night before to take advantage and let us all go to brunch on Sunday late morning.
We live in northeastern Lake Co and have been to pretty much all the popular breakfast venues within 15 miles of our house so wanted to explore more across the border. Eli’s in the far north side of K-Town in a much less busy and quieter part of town seemed ideal.
Just a brief wait for a table a few minutes before noon was well worth it. Good Mexican-American menu overall at fair prices with familiar eats ranging from traditional breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, salads, kids menu, etc.
It was Sunday so obviously the venue was pretty busy but the food was very tasty, the service was welcoming & friendly in a clean dining space. A breakfast venue we’d definitely come back to and hope for years of continued boomin’ business for the owner(s).

Great little breakfast place. Just relocated into Kenosha, visit several places but this one hit the jackpot. Clean, welcoming, great customer service and amazing food. I order the wrap not traditional breakfast but if they could do crispy French fries and a soup great dumplings soup. Overall great place like I mention before great service plus super friendly employees! Definitely will come!

I stopped in for a late local breakfast on a Sunday because of the great reviews, and boy did they meet expectations! The place is clean and the staff was so friendly, and the food was perfect!! It really looks like they are busy all the time. They are only open from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm most days, and when I left, 80% of the booths were filled. I got the No 2. Eli’s Slam Combo and it was perfect! The french toast was light and fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, “over medium”, and the bacon was crispy! Side car of orange juice and water, they didn’t let my cup go empty. I can imagine the same if you got coffee. A 16$ breakfast, with tip, got out of there for 20$ for one person which is average for a sit down breakfast in this area. The staff was very attentive, and two or three people asked if I needed anything more while I was eating. That was so nice, especially with how busy it was getting. They actually could do with some more tables. They have the room for it. I look forward to trying their other dishes. This is a great local sit-down breakfast and lunch place, but I do believe you can get carry-out as well. Of course there is plenty of parking in the “Glenwood Crossing” parking lot, and plenty of good eats to be had at Eli’s Cafe and Pancake House

Great place! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Very homey inside and the food never disappoints. I’ve been here several times and have done pick up orders as well. Not once have i had a bad experience with staff or the food. Love the breakfast and lunch, plus the wide selection. Bought myself lunch and some gift cards for some family I hope this business has nothing but success ❤️

Tried it for the first time. We ordered their breakfast burrito. The salsa that came with it we were charged extra for an additional small sauce cup.
Country fried steak was small and pancakes were bland and eggs were overcooked.
Philly cheesesteak was dry, barely any cheese or mushrooms. Bread was old and hard at the ends. Charged for ranch sauce
Chicken tenders were the size of nuggets. Charged for barbecue.
Unfriendly service as well.
Maybe this was just not their day but overall the food was bland and our experience was below average for your typical Sunday breakfast type of place. There are a lot of breakfast options in Kenosha I would skip this one.

I started going to Eli’s for breakfast one time per week about a year ago. Last few times we went, my husband got the senior breakfast, which comes with a free coffee. I ordered a side of pancakes, which is priced at $3. I’ve had surgery, which prevents me from eating large portions. I finished my husband’s coffee and he didn’t get a refill. Our bill included coffee for $3 and the short stack of pancakes for $8. Next time, this happened again. We were told the side of pancakes is smaller. That’s what I ordered. Why are you bringing the short stack when I ordered the side? I’m only eating 1/2 of the short stack because it’s too big. We were also told I was drinking the free senior coffee and, since I’m not a senior, thats why I was charged $3. That was our last visit. Food isn’t phenomenal either. It’s really mid run of the mill breakfast.

Service is fast and super friendly. The coffee is great, and your mug will never go dry. Excellent daily discussion, and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I love their skillets, and their chilaquiles are perfect!

We had a very nice waitress and some good food that was reasonably priced for the portions. It’s a cute little diner in the middle of a strip mall that serves wholesome food in a friendly and relaxed fashion. We would recommend.
