I have come to this location many times before, but this morning was not a good experience. I arrived at the store at 7:48 and placed my online mobile order so I could get my drink quickly and be on time to school. I sat in the store until 7:58 when I noticed food sitting on the counter, but no names had been called. I walked up to the counter with my friend and realized it was my food.

My friend and I stood at the counter for about three minutes before a worker asked for the name on the order. My friend responded with our names, and we then continued to stand there for another eight minutes. My friend finally asked if she had our orders, and the worker rudely replied, “Yes, I do. It’s right here.” I didn’t receive my drink until 8:13.

I’m not usually the type of person to get upset about waiting, but 20 minutes—especially when I was standing right in front of the counter—is a little excessive. I understand they have drive-thru and other mobile orders, but I had been standing in the store for far too long. No one ever says good morning unless the sweet male worker (I really wish I knew his name) is there. He always talks to customers, especially if you’re the only one in the store.

I will continue to go to this location because it’s the only one near me, but I think that if there are six employees working, at least one of them could have a positive attitude and be more polite.

It’s no wonder Starbucks is going downhill. Walked in with five people and waited a good 5 minutes but possibly longer. There were 3 people in the store not once did anyone acknowledge our existence. We decided to leave. I haven’t been visiting in a while but after this Starbucks won’t see my money again.

1/22/26 For the past 2 months when ordering Starbucks’ delicious oatmeal, the app says “Blueberries out at this store” when I attempt to add it. However, when I ask the baristas for them they always have them. Wish this could corrected in the app. Thanks!

10/30/25 10a – Our Lexington Starbucks now has the Clover grind & brew coffee machine! EVERY CUP of coffee (6 kinds) is freshly ground & brewed. I’m especially pleased that this includes my fave Pike Decaf and I can get free refills. Much appreciated.

Not sure of the “woman’s” name, but she’s got short hair and looks to be growing a beard. Anyway she’s nothing but a rude person, asked about a medicine ball and it replied with “i’m not a doctor i don’t know anything about a medicine ball” and was just totally rude for no absolute reason if you don’t know your drinks then why are you working here??? just like it didn’t even know it’s gender it seems. this starbucks is the WORST and needs corporate involved. i literally had to call another starbucks and they were so nice and ACTUALLY knew the answers to my questions.

Traveling on a long road trip and needed a caffeine boost. Googled the nearest Starbucks The drive through was down. 2/3 girls working were very unfriendly and rude to their customers. Only one girl smiled or acted pleasant. I hope this was just a bad day for these girls and not how they treat their customers consistently. Unfortunately the quality of the coffee wasn’t consistent with what one normally expects from a Starbucks. Hopefully it was just a fluke day.

Upon walking in, the trash was overflowing. First red flag.

Ordered a venti brown sugar shaken espresso with light ice. Was told they can’t do that because not enough ice would make the drink explode. You read that right. Explode.
Somehow, this Starbucks uses a special type of espresso that is unstable enough to explode upon light ice contact. When we shared that is not anything we’ve been told at other Starbucks, the cashier proceeded to retell the story in my earshot, exaggerating my tone and disbelief in the explosive nature of our order. Another red flag.

Exploding coffees and a filthy store. Not worth it.

I don’t know how to start this review. Let me just say that I’m not here to bash Starbucks. Starbucks has made me delicious coffees for the last ten years. It was the service at this location that left me so confused. I thought I was just dumb when I walked out. I came in and my venti iced tea (I said no ice) was just half a cup. I thought they spilled it or someone just came and drank half as a joke. My venti latte, that I never order with whip cream, was now in a grande cup. I asked them why this was and the woman’s response (they called the manager on shift over to answer my question because they didn’t want to?) Was, and I’m not joking. “Don’t expect more drink if you don’t order ice.” So they downgraded my drinks down a cup because apparently ice and whip cream is double?? I got in my car and tried to customize through the app and used the same drink I always do and added whip cream and then another order without whip cream. They were the same price so was the iced tea without ice. I paid $17 for four drinks and two of which were just a disappointment. I literally ordered the same drinks the day before, and for the past decade. Never had this issue. Especially not the response I got. I don’t need free stuff or money back, but if you work in customer service, do your job. I called corporate to verify that this is correct or have I been getting special treatment all the other times. The gentleman said that was not done right and apologized and offered to pay back for the ice and whip cream

Every drink I’ve ever gotten at this location has tasted like crap. I went today and got two ice coffees..they had no ice in them and were hot. They offered to remake them because there was also no heavy cream on them/sweetener…remade them & still put no ice in them and the cold foam tasted like straight salt.

My recent visits to Starbucks have been really disappointing. The staff were rushed, unfriendly, and at times downright rude. There was no basic courtesy or effort to help, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. The drinks were fine, but the attitude wasn’t.
