This review is for the Seven Daughters Ice Cream Shop on 515 4th Street in Cullman, AL.
My husband and I went here for the first time when we were out of town. Before I share with you his review of the dessert he ordered, I want to say that we both felt like their customer service was top-notch and would give them a five 5️⃣. I have to be careful with making sure I don’t eat items that have a high concentration of fructose corn syrup in it and the owner, I believe, maybe the manager, took quite a bit of time with me to try and figure out if certain ones had a high concentration of it in there. She had EXCELLENT customer service and I was very impressed by it. I decided I shouldn’t really take a chance and eat anything, but I encouraged my husband to get something while he was there since we were on vacation. He ordered the Caramel Apple Crisp and would give it a four 4️⃣. He said the ice cream caramel ratio was very good and he enjoyed the flavor profiles of how they mixed. He got the big one and said it was definitely shareable and would give it a five 5️⃣ on size. If presented the opportunity again and he decided to treat himself, he said he would order it.

I really wanted to like Seven Daughter Scoops — the shop is cute and the staff was friendly — but honestly, I left disappointed. The ice cream itself tastes fine, but the portions are shockingly small for how expensive it is. I paid way more than I expected for what felt like just a couple of bites.
I understand prices have gone up everywhere, but when you’re spending that much on a single scoop, you at least expect it to be a generous serving. It just didn’t feel like a good value, especially compared to other local spots.
Overall, it’s a nice place with potential, but unless the portion sizes improve or the prices come down, I probably won’t be back.

This was our first visit to Cullman and to 7 Daughters Ice Cream. We were fairly excited to visit the ice cream shop as we had been in the car all day. This was our first place we have been in Alabama that we did not have a warm welcome and we felt like they were annoyed to have us in there. I unfortunately could not finish eating my ice cream because my butter pecan was laced with mint (something my husband ordered). I’m very allergic to mint and to say the least, I could not finish my ice cream due to an onset of symptoms that happen when I come into contact with mint. The next thing that unsettled me was an elderly woman that spilt her ice cream on the floor. The woman informed the two girls at the register talking to each other that she made a mess. Instead of offering to get a mop or not to worry they will get it, they instructed her to get some napkins to clean it herself. I’m sorry but no customer should ever be crawling around on a food service floor to clean up… even if they did make a mess. Let alone an older woman. Based off the great reviews this shop has I’m assuming this is not the gold star standard they won their award with.

The scoops of ice cream were huge for adults. It’s a bit pricey, but very good. Every Tuesday they have a whole new selection of ice cream to choose from.
Their outdoor area to eat is nicely landscaped and even has a few things for kids & adults to do game-wise.

Went to the older location and loved my fall treat- I am glad to hear there is a second location that is open now- I have not had the experience at that location yet!!!! I would have loved a greater barrier from that main road traffic and maybe some inside seating as well as an option.
