We drove out to Winter Haven after AI recommended Deli Basket as one of the best sandwich spots near Lakeland—and it was spot on. I had the signature deli club, and my wife had the turkey on pumpernickel. The bread was impressively soft (not the usual tough ciabatta), and the flavors were fantastic. My wife would have preferred oven-roasted turkey over smoked, but she still gave it a 9.5/10. Definitely worth the trip!

I own a shop nearby and they have delivered twice. Really sweet owner. Fresh bread and they pack the sandwiches full! I had a Turkey sub today for only $6.95. Where else can you go for that price?! It doesn’t include anything but a pickle spear, but it’s so worth it. I love that they’ll deliver and I don’t have to go through an app that costs twice as much!

I’ve been coming here (not as a routine) for almost 7 months….the bread is SUPER soft and they load their sandwiches/subs with a lot of meat and veggies. The staff? Although only 2 people, make it work perfectly. If you haven’t been, I suggest going. Subway SUCKS and Jersey Mikes is overpriced. Let’s make Deli Basket #1

I’ve eaten here on numerous occasions and the food is consistently tasty and the ingredients are always very fresh. The staff that works there are very friendly and accommodating. The whole facility is very clean, something I always personally look for before I order from anywhere. I recommend this great little sandwich shop to anyone looking for a quick bite.

My wife and I stopped in to try out the Deli Basket for the first time. She had their vegetarian sandwich and I had their signature deli club, both were absolutely delicious and the lady that is the owner was very gracious and helpful. The only problem with this place is …it’s a 40 minute drive from my house. We will be back. Highly recommended.
