Ordered online for pick up. Hoped I would get there while they made the food, I did not. Asked for extra sauce because one spoon of sauce for such a large bowl is not enough. Was told it’d be an additional 75 cents so I declined. When I got home to eat I noticed they never put ANY sauce on in the first place! Without sauce the food is very dry and pretty much flavorless! I do not recommend this location. The one across town is much better and doesn’t skip out on sauce!

Oryza makes a great and quick solution for my starving child after a long basketball practice. Thank you so much for the easy way to put in an order and have it ready by the time I arrive. My daughter was hangry and dove into her meal the moment I brought it to her. She said it was really good and she also enjoyed the juice that comes with the kids meal (better than the water I was having her drink hahaha) Thanks again.

While traveling from south to north to visit family, then traveling south again, 3 years ago, we found this name on a road sign, and decided to try it. It was delicious and welcoming, and we have decided to make it our go-to stop everytime in Morgantown. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and we are always full before we can finish a whole bowl, but it is so good we usually finish it there! While talking to the owner’s son on our last visit in October, 2025, we discovered it is NOT a franchise, but we wished it were, so we could encourage other family and friends to stop by. I even took a store card so we can try out some of the food, making it at home, but of course, it wouldn’t taste as wonderful as it is in the restaurant. Thank you for this taste of Asia! YUM!

The noodles have gone from long strands to chopped-up rice-like pieces. They now serve it with so much pasta water that it completely dilutes the (otherwise delicious) sauce. It’s not the same as it was a couple of years ago!

Tasted kind of like Asian food. I got the bowl with fried rice, teriyaki chicken, shrimp, strong beans, mixed veggies, onions, cucumbers, organic eggs. The fried rice didn’t taste like Chinese fried rice, but it looked like fried rice. The mixed veggies were ok. Something is very spicy. I think it’s the fried rice, and I see red hot pepper pieces. Some items are extra $$. The watermelon lemonade is good. If I’m in the area again, I might come back and try a vegetarian bowl with tofu. My dogs finally ate the chicken, but they didn’t like the cheese. I think it would have tasted better if I minimized the number of items… white rice, tofu, string beans, onions and cucumber, maybe. Sometimes, keeping it simple is better. The employee was very helpful guiding me through the options to add to my bowl.

Noel and I was in Morgantown WV for my doctor’s appointment and while there I searched around the area for a restaurant for lunch. We chose Oryxa Asian Grill Restaurant because of some of the reviews and photos shared.

The restaurant was very clean. We were greeted immediately, but it’s not table service. We both chose bowls, I went with fried rice and Spicy Chicken. Noel went with White Rice and Steak. We both chose some veggies, cheese and a sauce. It was very good. The food was wonderful.
We enjoyed eating with chopsticks. We also ordered Blue Raspberry Lemonade which turned out too sweet for me.

I definitely would go back here again to eat and definitely recommend if you’re in the Morgantown area to try them out. There are 2 locations. We both really enjoyed the food!!!

The purple-haired employee (I didn’t catch her name) was unjustifiably hostile to not only myself, but my team of 20+. We came in at night, ready to enjoy whatever food that the workers would be willing to serve, nearly apologetic for the inconvenience of so many customers coming in at once. This specific purple haired employee greeted us with aggression that whatever food was already made was all that would be served, which we expected. Apparently she also said that the dining room was closed, which myself and many other teammates did not hear, and was confusing because other customers were actively eating. The other employee was very professional and courteous while serving us, however, as we began to pay, the purple haired employee saw that we sat down to eat our $300 worth of food and yelled to us that we were “told not to eat inside.” We responded with confusion, but were met by hostility yet again when she claimed that she couldn’t “stay late” because of “cleaning up after twenty five girls.” This was over 30 minutes before closing time, and we were already beginning to exit the building. The man in my party that paid asked why she was behaving like that and treating us in such a way, and this purple haired employee yet again was angry and confrontational without reason. This specific employee also decided to follow the last member of my party out to the door and slam it after him- while other customers were still in the store. Because of this purple haired employee, my team and I will never be coming back to this establishment, no matter how good the food is.

I stumbled in here, having to spend the week in town. Was so very surprised at the wonderful tastes! I ended up getting the same Bowl almost every time and am not shy to say I bought at least four meals here.
Brian Golde is General Manager, and his store is clean, has great food, but most importantly, he hires really nice people.
I met Logan here and I think that man would be a hit in any people-related business.
I wish I could remember the name of the new girl who was started here (thursday maybe?) She was excellent, as well.
Good people All!
Next time near town, i will going out of my way to make a stop in here.
Thanks Everyone!

Would give 5 stars if the person up front would just learn to stir the rice once every half hour or hour to make it not look so dry at the top where they serve u from. Simple food etiquette and this place never does it lol

Portions were small for the price we paid. $20+ per person with drink.

The service was great when they paid attention to the counter.

I would recommend finding a coupon.
