Put your small airport eatery expectations hat on for this one; it was good.
I was the only customer at 6 am on a weekday, but instead of talking me up because he was bored, the bar tender let me eat and only checked on me when needed, that was appreciated when I had not had my coffee…which was average for an airport bar.
The food was below average for an airport bar, but there’s limited selection at a small airport. The toast was dry as was the bacon, but they gave a good portion of each. The two fried eggs were brown instead of white, but I had to chalk that up to a well used grill or brown butter…I’m going with the former…they tasted just fine. The homestyle potatoes were good, not overcooked as many are.
Atmosphere was nice, service was nice…overall good.

I had an early flight and stopped in for a “to go” breakfast. I ordered the all American (eggs, sausage or bacon, home fries, and toast) and it was quite a lot of food for a really reasonable price. I paid just over $15 including top for a meal I could have split with another. There were 4 triangles of toast, and quite a bit of bacon and potatoes. The gentleman who was working was very nice and handed me the food personally. He also made sure to include plenty of napkins, jelly, butter, salt and pepper, ketchup, and utensils. For a smaller airport (and just airports in general) I’d recommend this as an option to others. I’ll be sure to start the day here again for my next flight. ✈️ (I’d already eaten the eggs before I took the photo)

Stopped by this spot while waiting for a flight. The food was okay—nothing special, but it did the job for a quick airport meal. The lady working the bar seemed a bit short with customers, but to be fair, she was running the whole place by herself and it was pretty busy.
Given the circumstances, I get that it might have been a stressful shift. Not the most welcoming experience, but it might be better during a slower time.

Food was 4/5; same as an average American restaurant.
Service was good.
The place doesn’t have many visitors so it’s quiet.

Go to Max and Erma’s. The menu here is IDENTICAL but M&E has more options! Fries were undercooked, because, why try? Standard subpar dining experience for the Midwest.

Chicken fingers were hot, fresh and not overcooked; fries were hand cut type and delicious. Good was impressive for an airport.
Service was a tad slow at start but one bartender was all to be found and it appears many of us arrived at the same ish time; she was husslin.
Beer and whiskey were good she even got me Coke Zero, so over all extremely happy. We know airports cost a bit more but $20 for a draft beer is a bit excessive don’t cha think…but it’s that or air dry while you wait.

I feel compelled to share my experience from February 28, 2025, at 6 PM. The understaffing situation significantly impacted the quality of service. I waited for over 20 minutes at the high tables without acknowledgment, then moved to the bar where I waited an additional 10 minutes. When I attempted to order, I was abruptly told to wait without any courtesy.
I’m a returning customer and have noticed this understaffing pattern during previous visits. While other servers have typically been professional and communicative, even during busy times, today’s experience fell well below the establishment’s usual standards. The lack of acknowledgment and professional courtesy was particularly disappointing.
I would strongly recommend:
Reviewing staffing levels during peak hours
Ensuring all staff maintain professional communication standards
Implementing a system to acknowledge customers even during busy periods
I hope this feedback helps improve the dining experience for future customers.

My go to place for breakfast when I’m flying out of Dayton. The all American breakfast never disappoints. The ladies that make it are always super nice and cook everything perfectly.

If you are tired from work snd need a calm, friendly, environment stop here on your next trip. DAESHA really helped make that happen. Didn’t really know what to order from the menu, she patiently took her time to help. This was a great experience 5 starz

The lady that works this place by herself is spectacular. She knows the drink selection. She reads the crowd she addresses needs before they are expressed. A very very good server, manager and probably leader. Stacy! STACY! Stacy! ProMotion. ProMotion! ProMotion!
