Today we stopped by McHappy’s Bakery in Point Pleasant to buy donuts and other pastries!
The building is so Open New and Airy which is beautifully decorated!
The donuts are so good! My grandkids were happy! I just love the cleanliness of the store and the counter lady was extremely nice & helpful.
Definitely going back!

We stopped in because we heard good things, and while the donuts were decent and the place looked clean, the experience overall was disappointing. There was no menu or pricing anywhere, which made it hard to know what we were even being charged for.
We ordered 4 donuts and 2 coffees, and were surprised when the total came to $29. After checking the receipt, we noticed we were charged for filled donuts, even though we didn’t get any filled. That, along with a credit card fee, added to the frustration. Charging a card fee in 2025 feels outdated—most people don’t carry much cash, and this should just be considered a cost of doing business.
Only one employee was working, so the wait was longer than expected. The donuts we did get seemed a bit dry, too—not what we’d hoped for from a bakery.
Overall, while the shop was clean and the donuts were okay, the lack of transparency, incorrect charges, and high price point left a bad taste. We wouldn’t recommend it based on our visit.

We stopped here on a road trip, with no idea what this eye-catching place might be. We were looking for a place for lunch and instead found pastry nirvana! The service was absolutely amazing, and the selection was HUGE! I got a cinnamon roll donut and a double chocolate muffin, both were melt in your mouth delicious. Prices were good for a bakery, and we will definitely be stopping by if we are near again! 10/10 you owe it to yourself to give McHappy’s a try.

Let me start by saying that this place is a diamond and a rough. When you walk in your first thing you’ll notice is the bright colors that just pop and make you happy. Also that the place is just immaculately clean. I mean, this place is spotless from the ceilings to the floors. And oh boy, what a selection of big goods! Absolutely delicious. We got quite of an assortment ourselves! They are parking out back and drive-through around the right side. They got a selection of a few cappuccino’s and a few coffees they could also do iced coffees. They do have an espresso machine And they also offer juices and milks. And a quick visit to the restrooms they are very clean as well and well kept.

I think I found my favorite donut place in West Virginia! These donuts were fresh and tasty! I got three different varieties and all of them were a hit. Also, a small detail, the coffee was hot and comforting!

Found this place while down in Point Pleasant WV. As I entered the store, I was greeted with the amazing smell of fresh pastries.
They had a great selection of donuts, cookies, assorted pastries & cakes. So a walked the display cases and made my selection of assorted goodie’s. The staff were unbelievably friendly & helpful, recommending different things they thought I might enjoy. I also got a cup of their coffee as well, gotta have coffee with your sweets. The store was extremely clean & lots of tables to sit at to enjoy you snacks. I will definitely be back to grab some more of their awesome donuts & pastries again.

Very pretty and clean! All you could desire in baked goods! The lady that’s the owner was so kind and helpful! Smells so yummy you will struggle with what to order first! Yummy products! Close to the Ohio and WV state lines! A few blocks from the Mothman Museum and Statue! Enjoy Point Pleasant! Support Local!

Squeeee! I love the selection that they have at McHappy’s! It’s the best. I can’t not go when I’m visiting Point Pleasant. I haven’t had a bad thing. There is no bad thing here. I haven’t had everything yet but mostly because there is such a big selection and it changes. Pair with a coffee and milk and you’re set. It seems really clean here also and I love the light arrangement also. It is aesthetically pleasing.

Stopped here with a friend not looking into the place or knowing what it had lol. The worker was chill when we asked him to choose us two random donuts (we have no allergies by the way). We both really enjoyed the sweets we got and are 100% going back and will be telling people.
