The food is ok, it’s more of a convenient thing. With the bar/ restaurant being in the hotel. I have eaten there before when I have stayed there in the past. This last time was even more disappointing. I ordered a chicken sandwich just to try something different. The chicken breast was 1/2 the size of a small bun.
The other thing that happened before and I just figured out this last time. When you pay with your card, their card processor takes almost 2 weeks to process your payment. That’s like writing someone a check and them holding on to it forever.

Unpretentious family atmosphere. Simple menu delivered with quality. Good draft beer selection. Crispy fries, really good. Decent side salad. Enjoyed a veggie burger that wasn’t on the menu. Nice to walk from our motel room instead of getting back in the car.

We were having difficulty find a restaurant in Pagosa Springs that served dinner. There are many biker places with much loud music, and there are the restaurants in the expensive hotels that host the ‘Springs’. Neither of these were for us. Driving through town searching then, we came upon this Quality Inn with it’s own restaurant. It’s unusual for a QI to have it’s own restaurant, but there is the matter of not too many places for inexpensive dinners in a causal atmosphere, so there is a niche place for this.
The bar area was much fuller than the restaurant, and we were seated in the breakfast room. This was acceptable, even if we were the only diners. The food was average, but it was affordable, and the portions were more than enough. We had a large Hawaiian Pizza, which was burnt on the bottom. We waited awhile for our meal. The server was nice, but it was apparent that he was unused to diners coming in for dinner.
It was not easy to find this place, and I doubt we would have searched it out, if we had had other choices.

Service was beyond awful. We sat in front if the waitress for 20 minutes before acknowledged. The Patty Melt was decent but needed salt. The Green Chile pizza was gross tasting like cheap processed cheese with some chile peppers.

We made the mistake of staying at the Quality Inn one time. It was a horrible experience but the one good thing that came out of it was we got to taste the green chile stew at the Rez Hill Grill. Now every time we come to Pagosa was HAVE TO STOP HERE for their GCS! Last time we stopped in we got the Green Chile Cheeseburger, which is this amazing stew smothered over the burger. We’ve had the fish fry and some other items, but it’s the stew that keeps us coming back. We’re from New Mexico so we know a thing or two about chile. Most of the other menu items are standard pub fare, like breaded items and nachos. Staff have always been friendly and in the evenings they have live music. Keep up the good work, guys! And hang onto your cook!

I have been to Pagosa several times and always stay at the Quality Inn downtown which has this restaurant(REZ HILL GRILL) in the hotel. I have always enjoyed the food, envoirment and super friendly staff which always greet u with a smile on their face. This Restaurant is family friendly and has a great kids menu. The Green chili Pizza is one of my favorites and the Burgers are awesome. This place does have live music and a very nice RUSTIC BAR.
OVERALL WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO VISIT IF U WERE IN PAGOSA SPRINGS CO.
