Well Hello. Tell you what. Complete suprise. You have to go here and give them your business. They need more business. Miranda not only took the order but she made it. Thank you. Great food. Had the spicy chicken sandwich, pork tenderloin sandwich, southern fried inferno wings, and the chiccarones. Wow. Amazing. All of it. Biggest suprise pork tenderloin and Chiccarones. Crazy, so good. Everything was a 10. Not one complaint. Even ranch tasted good. This is the best kept secret in Alaska. Tell 10 people. Tell the world. All chicken was season properly, crispy, and sauced just right. The heat was on point. The pork tenderloin, was legendary. I never knew pork could be this good. I have photos but they do not do this place justice. Go here today. Bring your appetite. Food came out fast, good portions, and I left full. Thank you!

Friends told us this place was a one of the best places for wings in the area so I surprised my wing- loving husband on his birthday and took him here. They had sold out of bone in wings! (30min before closing) We got boneless instead and I mentioned we were hoping to try out the wings for my husband’s birthday, and the man serving us said “Come back tomorrow first thing you’ll get wings on the house!”
And my husband did, best wings he’s had in a while, he said. And the boneless were great too!

I placed a pickup order & it was ready in maybe 10 minutes. My partner had got the food on her way home after work so I didn’t see the food until about 25-40 minutes after I placed the order which I expected.

Sandwich was very basic, a little mayo and two tiny pickles, no lettuce or tomato. So it was a bit boring/bland for our liking. We prefer Curbside 49 chicken sandwich for sure.

We do not recommend the waffle fries. $5 for a very small portion, most of which were small broken pieces I wouldn’t really eat. & they were very very greasy/oily. One of the bags of 4 fries didn’t even have the little cardboard tray so they just threw the fries in a brown bag and called it good. It made me not want to eat them personally so I threw them out after I tried 1 since they were too greasy & soft.

I’ve been trying to find places that don’t use Styrofoam but was willing to ignore it to try new place. But my chicken from the sandwich melted through the back of the styrofoam putting a hole in it so I tore a smal chunk off since Styrofoam is toxic. Overall we were not impressed.
We more than likely won’t be eating here again.

Been coming here with my wife ever since they opened, I think like a mini wing places it is important to focus on their wings. Although they have some sides, chicken sandwich stuff, and other things, if you are coming to the chicken coop come for the wings, and more specifically come for the sweet and sassy wings and have them make them extra spicy. Their wings size wise have ranged from humongous to normal to very small. The one time we got very small wings from them they replaced our next order entirely so if that should happen to you know that they will make it right. This is not a sit-down restaurant, this is a place to come and pick up tasty wings and bring them home, and I highly recommend them. Also if you prefer your wings to be a little bit more crispy you definitely should let them know, they can accommodate that but they don’t make extra crispy wings without a request And it will end and you having a more cooked wing so just know that. I prefer them the way they cook them but everybody has their preferences. Regardless it’s time to fly your own coop go into their coop and bring their wings back into your own Coop again haha

The Chicken Coop: Palmer’s Best-Kept Secret!

If you haven’t been to The Chicken Coop yet, stop what you’re doing and head over now! This hidden gem in Palmer serves up the most mouthwatering house-made, battered, and fried chicken you’ll ever taste, cooked fresh to order every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or indulging in a feast, this spot is sure to impress.

The sides here are just as amazing as the chicken itself. Classic fries? Check. Gooey mozzarella sticks? Check. But let me tell you about the Cajun corn. It’s bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and hands-down my favorite side—it hits the spot every single time.

The vibe here is unbeatable, thanks to the friendly owner who clearly has a passion for making every meal unforgettable. You’ll feel right at home while enjoying some of the best food in town.

Do yourself a favor and discover The Chicken Coop. It’s everything you want in comfort food and more! Palmer’s food scene just leveled up.

5/5 stars!

The chicken is juicy and well seasoned the waffle fries are nice and crispy everything it’s seasoned well my only reasons the chicken strips don’t come with enough sauce and the food was a bit to greasy for my liking even for deep fried food but I would still recommend giving them a try

Hands down the best chicken or pork sandwich in the valley. While I’m not personally a fan of chick-fil-a… I work with people who are. Their consensus is that the chicken coop is just as good as any place they’ve gone previously. I highly recommend this joint as a must go to! One con, though probably not their fault, is any sauced wings will lose their crunch by the time you get home. I would maybe try getting the sauce on the side next time. The only negative I would truly point out are their fries. They are good as far as flavor goes, but even eating them on the drive home, I don’t think they have ever been crispy. Like I said, good flavor, but unfortunately, it’s floppy. The owner and the rest of the staff are friendly and put out a solid product.

Great chicken tenders – juicy and perfectly breaded with plenty of flavor. Cajun corn was super tasty too, sweeter than I was expecting. Will definitely be back!

I had the spicy chicken sandwich with cheese and was taken off guard by how good it was. I love cfa, but I think this takes the spot for best chicken sandwich. Waffle fries were a little soft for my liking but still tasted good. Very fast service, took just over 15 minutes from when I ordered, and is very affordable for how much food you get. Highly recommend!

Wings had good flavor, but very small wings. And the price was way too high for such a small amount of meat. $1.60/wing is not worth it. $1/wing would be more appropriate . The fiesta were ok. Flavor good, but over saturated in oil. The service was slower than expected, especially being the only person. And when I got home to eat, I realized I was shorted on the wings. People make mistakes, it happens. I probably will never go back, just being honest, but overall the food was good.
