The burger is amazing! I cannot get enough of this place. I went once last week and had to go back three days later. Their cocktail menu is superb. An added plus is their bartender, Russ, he is super knowledgeable and friendly (plus he is easy on the eyes ). Try the Old Fashioned and you will not be sorry. I also recommend the garlic aioli to dip your fries in.
I couldn’t stay away and I went back for yet another visit. Their winter cocktail menu is simply put, delicious!!!!
Try their carrot cake- you won’t be disappointed

Stopped into Julep on a Sunday since a lot of places nearby were closed, and we were really glad we did. The menu looked great for sharing, and the vibe felt like our speed.
The restaurant area was pretty quiet, but the bar was full and lively. Super comfortable seating, and the space has a cool modern-meets-vintage bar feel that works really well for a hotel bar.
We had martinis, beer, and a holiday specialty cocktail, all solid. Huge shoutout to Russ, the bartender, who gave excellent recommendations and clearly knows the menu inside and out. We shared the fried green tomatoes (crispy and delicious) and the baked wings, which were really good and a nice change from the usual fried option.
Even though there was only one bartender and one server, service never felt slow. Russ was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we felt taken care of despite how busy the bar was. Prices were very reasonable, the space was clean and well decorated, and the overall experience was great. Would definitely come back.

Today my husband and I tried Julep Contemporary Kitchen. Overall, the experience was just okay. The appetizers were good, but the main course that my husband tried was disappointing. The ribs and grits wasn’t acceptable the meat had way too much sauce, and he could barely taste the meat. On the positive side, the chicken with sweet corn was good, and we enjoyed the mocktail. However, nothing really was special, so we left feeling underwhelmed.

I hoped it would be as good as I imagined, but it wasn’t…!

Came here off of a recommendation from a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Its a lovely spot with attentive servers and fabulous food. I had the lamb recommend a glass of grenache with it to compliment the richness of the dish and had the whipped ricotta for an app also delicious in a simply but pleasant way. Will be back thanks for the night out.

The owner was super kind and let us in even though we didn’t have a reservation. We didn’t know there was one and we were out of town for business. Super amazing guy and awesome food. Very beautiful ambience!

This place absolutely hits the spot! The burgers are juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And the pizzas? Straight fire — crispy crust, delicious toppings, and seriously addictive. Great vibe, great food, and definitely a go-to spot when you’re craving something amazing. Highly recommend! Ask for Rachel…

Had such a great experience at Julep!! The atmosphere is fabulous, the staff is incredible, and the service truly stood out. Our bartender, Russ, was attentive, efficient, and incredibly patient with my unique food and drink restrictions. He also handled a disruptive patron really well… firm, but calm, and respectful, which made the whole experience even better.

When the chef, Johnathan, was alerted to my allergies, he came out to reassure me that my meal would be prepared carefully and properly. That level of care and attention meant so much and made me feel completely comfortable dining there.

Argentina added so much to the night with her hilarious, outgoing personality and quick attention to anything we needed. You can tell the staff genuinely enjoys what they do.

Can’t wait to go back!

Went for brunch and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant yet the service was still mid. No refills and forgot an order of friends which is fine but was just shocked since we were the only other table. $22 for a chicken Cesar salad that is only strips of lettuce, dressing and a tiny bit of chicken. A bit overpriced in my opinion.

Extremely disappointed in our experience here. Would honestly give no stars if I could. Found this place in 2021 (different name and quality then) and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Remembering the food, service, and ambience from the previous dinner, I was excited to return.

Understanding it was a “southern style” restaurant, I specifically told them I have a pork allergy. The dish I ordered had pork in it, yet it was NOT mentioned in the description on menu nor did the waiter mention anything while ordering. When I saw the bits of pork in the dish, I inquired about it and the staff was unapologetic and unhelpful.

I ordered a different, vegetarian dish (to be on the safe side) and unfortunately the food was just not tasty, certainly not the same chef and/or menu as before (2021). Two of my other friends ordered their steaks rare and med rare. Both steaks were made very well done (at best). There was no offer to correct their errors and our waiter even seemed irritated that we brought up our concerns (the allergy, over cooked steaks).

To top things off, they charged us an “unboxing fee” after THEY offered us an additional plate for the birthday cake we brought with us, without mentioning any associated “fees” beforehand.

Given what our dinner party spent, this was an absolutely terrible experience at this place. We will not return, nor recommend that any of our network patronize this place until there is new management, staff, and chef.

I dined at Julep last month and it truly was one of the best dining experiences I have had in awhile. The food that comes out of Julep’s kitchen is equally delicious and beautiful. Julep’s cocktail menu was just as inventive as the food menu — my favorite cocktail was the “Spicy Night”, Julep’s take on a watermelon jalapeño margarita. Will definitely be back ASAP!
