Stopped in to rest at the halfway point of our group 30k run today. We ran from firefighter’s park to the Strauss mansion museum. Initially we planned to just get some water and continue our run but we ended up staying a while grabbing a high tide juice smoothie and enjoying the atmosphere – it’s very lively. One of the staff let us sample the ‘forbidden black rice’ and that was a neat experience. Would come back again and perhaps end our long runs here with some food next time! The disco balls were a nice touch

We discovered this little gem recently. We like to ride our bikes from the Highlands along the Henry Hudson trail and stop at JuS for a bite. They offer an excellent selection of coffee, teas, and fresh juices. My first time there I had breakfast bowl with fresh eggs, avocado, sweet potato hash, a small side salad, and vegan sausage. It was enough food for 2 people but it was so delicious, I couldn’t stop eating it. The second time we went, I tried the latte and the single breakfast. It was a lightly cooked egg with salad served on a croissant. All were delicious. Their portions are fair and we lefting feeling satisfied but not overly full. The atmosphere is quirky, fun, and bookish. The owners are chatty and personable. I highly recommend trying Jus when in the area.

The most delightful cafe that takes you back decades to when the owner knows your name, everyone is friendly and loves what they do! This cafe is truly magical. Come for the food but you will stay and keep coming back for the love that goes into everything here. Sababa 🙂

JÜS Organic has become my “GOTO PLACE” for vegan/organic breakfasts and lunches. I drive 15 minutes 3 to 4 times per week just to grab coffee and the “simple breakfast” with vegan sausage on a toasted bagel! It’s like a food withdrawal when I’m traveling for business, it’s so difficult to find a place with this kind of quality food and atmosphere!!!
If you like coffee drinks, you need to try their oat milk cappuccino with cacao sprinkled on top! Nikki is an absolute artist as a barista! The owner, Renee, is so creative with the menu – so many unique items, with amazing wholesome bread options! She sources breads from north Jersey (Balthazar) and the Bronx (Orwashers) too. JÜS also serves smoothies, health shots, and a variety of homemade baked goods. The best part is you’re guaranteed to be greeted with a smile by the friendly staff – Justine, Alison, Nikki, et al! And now as the weather is warming up outside, enjoy their decorated patio!
My only wish is that it was located down the street from my home. It’s the perfect neighborhood hangout!

Thank you for providing such a fresh and clean food! There are many restaurant say “fresh food”, “organic”, “vegan” , ” clean food” though I sometimes didn’t feel right after eating and skeptical to try. But your restaurant has nice and fresh food that I feel comfortable to eat. I liked your beet smoothie and hummus bread! Please keep it fresh and organic! I’ll keep coming back to try another dish!
