Tava House is a great place in Los Angeles.
We came here because it was recommended to us by our friends. I visited it with my friends on January 25. There were four of us.
Two of my friends ordered pork, served with rice, pita bread, hummus, and salad. Everything was very tasty.
I ordered beef with rice, hummus, salad, and pita bread. I love meat, but I am very picky about taste, and it is hard for me to find places in the U.S. where meat is cooked well and is good quality. Here, I liked everything. The beef was very soft and tender, with well-balanced spices. I also really liked the rice. It was flavorful and went perfectly with the meat. The hummus was fresh and went very well with all the dishes.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even better. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of my meal, but my friend took a photo of her dish. She also really enjoyed her order.
I will definitely recommend Tava House to all my friends and would love to come back again. I only wish there were a Tava House in Washington State as well

Brought the family up to Glendale to explore their Armenian roots and heritage. Stopped here for lunch and was blown away by how good the food was! The owner’s wife was really helpful in explaining the different dishes and helping pick a few things out to try family style.

I burst into tears after the very first bite — I didn’t expect that at all. It brought me back to my childhood in a split second. I used to eat this food with my grandpa.
I’m not sure what spices they use, because nothing looks extraordinary, but the taste is absolutely amazing — juicy and perfectly balanced. The best Armenian food I’ve ever tried in Los Angeles. It turns out the cook has over 40 years of experience.

I really enjoy the food! The short rib special was delicious and the basil drink was fresh, organic and tasted great. Clean place. I highly recommend and would go back. Came here after a movie at the Americana and happy I did.

Found this place on Tiktok and hands down authentic Armenian food. Me and my dad’s first time and you could taste all the flavors in the food. Recommend

I love Northeast LA because you can find so many indepedently owned restaurants and small businesses there. Tava House is a great example. There’s a level of care and attention to the food and the customer that you only get with that deep emotional investment of an owner-operator.
We ordered a number of different grilled plates. As others have said, the Lamb Chops are delicious, and my wife, who usually doesn’t like lamb, thoroughly enjoyed it, too.
We also like the dish that’s a mix of meat and potatoes along with a lightly spiced sauce and grilled onions.
The atmosphere is what you would expect from a place like this—honest and real.

Chicken was very well flavored and juicy. I appreciate they serve the plates in to go containers as it makes it easier when you don’t finish your food (it’s a big plate). They are super nice. It’s a low key,
