As first time visitors, residing in the town centre, I cannot believe it has taken us so long to visit this restaurant. We have come away feeling completely satisfied with every part of the evenings experience. The food is so tasty and fresh. The service was brilliant, such friendly staff.
We ordered a lot of different dishes to try, but the starter mix h’ordeurves and duck pancakes were incredibly delicious. But the main dish to stand out was the chicken satay skewers. Just wow. They were absolutely gorgeous.
Very reasonably priced for the menu items and the atmosphere was lovely.
It wasn’t too busy for a Friday night, just enough to still be able to hear the beautiful music playing.
Thank you very much, we will be back again many times in the future.

We visited on new year’s eve, busy which Is understandable due to the time of year but wow what an incredible experience. The staff, the food was perfect from start to finish. Specially enjoyed my chilli beef and salt n pepper king prawns best have had . Well done to all specially on such a busy night.

The food in this place in incredible! Special shout out for the crispy Mongolian lamb which has such a depth of flavour and incredible texture, I would eat it most days if I lived closer.

We took a detour as we both fancied some pho, a good decision!
Service was great, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Freshly made soup and starters that we were allowed to customise.
Broth was very deep and flavoursome and when coupled with chilli oil, certainly did the trick.

Absolutely fantastic, amazing quality and by far the best food in newton! My favourite is the Singapore noodles with the perfect amount of heat, and the sesame prawn toast. My partner and I are chefs and foodies and find it hard to find tasty and good quality food locally, so Ru Yi Pho is our favourite. To eat in or takeaway, I highly recommend!

Visited the Vietnam restaurant 31st December for 7pm . Greeted and shown to our table ordered drinks which came in fifteen minutesthen our starter came in 20 minutes all very nice . Then we waited and waited for our mains after two hours of waiting we called the waiter over and he said as we complained the chef would start cooking ours . The four of us decided we had gone past being able to enjoy a meal . This restaurant seemed to concentrate on take aways and not on the customers sitting waiting to be severed

Well, at last. A real restaurant in Newton Abbot. Just exquisite food. We had travelled SE Asia, and this food is up there with our favourite all time meals.
We had the set menu B. Too much to eat, everything was very very tasty. We couldn’t stop looking at each other to convey how much we were enjoying the dishes. The pancake rolls are packed and home made. The chilli sauce was even fresh and tasted of holidays.
The beef stir fry was exceptional, and the ribs were the best iv ever had.
You can tell when it’s fresh, you can tell when the chef cares about the food.
Come here, don’t think twice.

I was totally surprised with this take away, it was for 5 people. I have tried many in the past in Newton Abbot all below standard. This take away was amazing, the quality of food was great. Packaged well and delivered promptly. I will never go elsewhere where now. Fresh tasty food I would absolutely recommend.
