When I first came in, I was greeted by 2 flies fighting for prime real estate on my face. I hate flies, they are such dirty bugs that cause shigella, something that makes you seriously sick. As I was trying to place an order, kids were running all over the place, in and out of the kitchen, sitting on the floor, and playing with each other. I didn’t know if I had stepped into a day care center. The first impression I had was not a good one. The place is dirty, yet they have a 98 sanitation rating.
I ordered a BLT. I wanted fries, but I saw some old fries just sitting in the fryer basket, and I knew they were going to serve them to me. No thank you.
I sat at a dirty table (there were no clean tables), which I tried to clean with a paper towel, and I waited for my sandwich. When I picked up the BLT, it was full of bacon, well toasted, and very delicious. The food is really good, but the place is a dump.

Stopped by for lunch and tried the special – fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and yams.
Added the banana pudding as well. Food came out quickly and tasted well cooked.
Plenty of seating outside if the inside is packed.
Next time, heading back to try some other items on the menu.

If a grill or diner offers a bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato on white toast with mayo then i go for that. I’ll add pepper, salt and hot sauce if available. This is one of the best ones i have had across the state. Just found this grill today and the avg. rating on here shows it is worth a visit more than once.

I have heard a lot about this place but with the posted hours and 3 pm closing time it was hard for me to get over here. When I arrived the ribs and chicken were sold out (so come very early) so I ordered a hamburger because I saw the cook using real ground beef. It was $5 for a medium sized burger but for real ground beef this is a bit of a bargain. No Wendy’s does not use ground beef contrary to popular belief. Next closest thing would be Five Guys and it’s about $8-10 for a ground beef burger.

Stopped here with my family for a quick bite on our way south to FL. Deep Creek Cheesecake was very good. Loaded with meat (beef and chicken mix) on buttered bread (I think it was buttered as it was delicious). Kids had burgers and fried chicken with fries, also good.

Come here at least once a week and sometimes more. My wife loves the grilled chicken salads. I always get a cheeseburger and hot dog with fries. Best burger you’ll get anywhere around and they are fast and friendly. If I’m in a hurry and need to get back to my office I will call ahead and swing by for pickup. Definitely stop in and try this place sometime.

We got there on Wednesday early as they were bringing in the Ribs & Chicken. We got a rib plate and the ribs were tender & tasty. I already loved their Hamburgers The BBQ is good too.

Only been a hand full of times and the food has Been Hot and fresh!!! Had the catfish and shrimp with slaw and fries (Only on Friday’s) and BOY IT WAS GOOD!!! Good home cooked food!!! The burgers are hand pressed and cooked to your liking. My wife is very picky about who cooks her burger and has no complaints.
