Last night after my wife’s post operative follow up we diverted to a new place on Carolina Road ten minutes from the Cardiac Center! Junction 421 was a great surprise for rolling the dice to find a new place. It is an old style place close to Carolina Beach! We started off with a sample from the restaurant; Pimento Balls (Very creamy and melted perfectly) !
We then moved onto a Tasty Crab Dip with our drinks. They also provided a bread basket with Strawberry Butter! My wife chose the special of the evening of Shrimp and Scallops and I chose the Risotto with Blackened Shrimp!
We will definitely come back for the delicious food prepared by Zach and Logan as well as the great service from Hailey. She was entertaining as well as helpful to make sure our dinner was enjoyable!

When you walk in to this place it just feels right. Friendly outgoing young people serving us and engaging in genuine conversation. It just seemed like everyone really liked working here. Our server was Hannah and Christian both offered great recommendations because it was our first time. The junction 21 chicken was amazing and so flavorful. Also great bourbon selection and great pours! When it’s your first time they offer you these little small fried pimento cheese balls so yummy. Then this super friendly guy tells us “ you guys have the best seat in the house, turns out he is owner Jonathan . Well done Jonathan we will be back soon.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner for the first time and we will definitely be back! The drinks were delicious, the food was amazing and the service was even better – Jonathan was so welcoming and friendly, and our server Rachel was so sweet and had the absolute best recommendations! Highly recommend the shrimp & scallops blue plate special, it was incredible!!

We had a great experience at Junction 421. We had a large party so we called ahead. Jonathan was the perfect host. After he learned about our ferry adventure, he offered free appetizers. The pimento cheese bites were amazing and so were the fried pickles. Per our attentive server’s recommendation, I ordered the spaghetti. It exceeded my expectation. From start to finish our visit was top notch at Junction 421. The whole team will impress you. We will absolutely go again! Thank you!

Do not sleep on this place!!! Came here with my husband visiting my mom for dinner (who had also never been). The atmosphere was amazing and the food was even better!! The crab dip is a MUST!! The service and staff were excellent from the minute we walked in the door, definitely recommend!

Great bar. Wonderful bartender. Knowledgeable, and insightful with the bourbons, which are plentiful, on hand. The best burger I’ve had in Wilmington. Double smash. Not to be missed. Looking forward to an opportunity to go back and trying more of the bourbons. Oh, the place was mostly empty. Kind of shocking considering the service and the decor, layout of the place. Place. It’s got everything going for it except people.

This is becoming one of my favorite close-to-home restaurants. The menu is a bit limited but it seems their thinking is that it’s better to do fewer selections very well than to offer the kitchen sink with compromised quality. I’ve been here several times, never had the same thing twice, and have always felt the food was excellent. The interior of this place is nice, comfortable, and mildly upscale while retaining a casual vibe. The staff is very well trained and professional and definitely in the top 20% of area restaurants. The bartenders and drink selections are also top notch. You get the sense that this is a very well run business by an owner who cares about getting the details right.

We were visiting Wilmington and did a lot of online research and found this restaurant. They are so nice! The owners came to our table to welcome us and go over favorites. It has a great ambience and the food is flavored so well and super large portions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Wilmington. Oh and they gave us a free fried pimento cheese appetizer since it was our first time there!
