Called in a few times recently, with every visit being a nice experience. Friendly landlord, great locals and a friendly atmosphere. Like a traditional pub should be! Pool, darts, jukebox and good beer, couldn’t ask for more. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. We were there last for a private party and the selection of Indian starters and mains was excellent, we have had takeaway a few times and enjoyed it every time. Well worth a visit for a pint and a takeaway, or eat in and soak up the atmosphere

Good pint of Worthington, well presented and very friendly staff. Restaurant server very helpful, no rush and food kept warm. Good quality Indian takeaway. My choice was very good, tasty, spicy but not too hot. Good quantity and I was full and satisfied by my meal.

Walked in with a few friends for a couple of drinks. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Beer was great, stayed on for food in the Indian restaurant which was excellent. Got chatting to Alan the owner, made us feel right at home. Great experience.

Mediocre food if I’m being honest. Strange set up the pub and restaurant are signed differently above separate doors but it’s all one area inside.

I can’t praise it enough. A group of five us arrived late but were treated to outstanding selection of alesand lagers with service from the vivacious Charlotte and resident cheeky chappy Jamie. I had a chicken jalfrezi which should be mandatory tasting for any potential vegans ,to point out the fault in their thinking. For a side I ordered fresh keema naan which I only got to enjoy through judicious forking of my companions. Our irish accents granted us an audience with the raconteur landlord who told us tales of his days running some of the best known pubs in Dublin , and his charming wife.Its dog friendly policy was evident in the comfortable beer garden where Oscar sat on his pillow like royalty. God may be irish but when he fancies a fantastic curry with friendly people he heads to the Elephant and Castle. We will return.
