The food was absolutely amazing, it tasted just like I was in the Philippines again. This place is definitely the most authentic place you can find anywhere in North Alabama. And the amount of food they give you for what you pay is incredible. For only $16 I was able to get Pancit, rice with chicken adobo, and a pork kebab plus 2 Lumpias with dipping sauce and a water bottle. It was alot of food, I was very full when I finished the meal. The server was also very kind and I got my meal in under 5 minutes. If you want to try amazing Filipino food, go here.

Pancit tasted bland. It could use some more soy sauce or oyster sauce. The chicken skewer and the chicken adobo could also use some more taste. The adobo didn’t really taste like adobo to me. It lacked that garlic, bayleaf, black pepper taste. Chicken afritada was pretty decent. The lumpia was also pretty good. And the Ube cookie was really good. I’m half and half on my reviews. The service was great though. The 2 guys that worked there were nice. Overall, I would still go back to try out the rest. But until then, it’s a 3 star for now.

We stumbled on Flippin Filipino during a rainy visit to Scott’s Orchard, and the smells coming from the truck had me salivating so we abandoned our lunch plans and ordered two combos (one of just BBQ skewers for the kids, and the other contained most of their other offerings). I didn’t get the name of the woman who took our order but she was very nice and helpful and the food was EXCELLENT, though the adobo was my least favorite of the four things we tried (spicy but a tad bland). Everything tasted homemade, the portions were perfectly satisfying and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. I would CERTAINLY visit them again!

Always my go-to when the food truck is around on RSA. The Pork Inihaw and Caldereta are super flavorful and my personal favorites. Also definitely try the Banana Lumpias if you get the chance!
Side note, so happy to see there’s now a brick & mortar location, too. Great place with a super kind owner and would love to see it expand further in Huntsville or Madison, if possible.

As a Filipino family, we were excited to try Filipino food at their food truck spot on Redstone Arsenal. However, our experience fell short of expectations. The chicken alfredada lacked the traditional flavor profile, resembling shredded chicken in an orange sauce. Similarly, the chicken adobo lacked authenticity, appearing more like baked chicken with no soy sauce or seasoning. The only highlights were the lumpia accompanying the dishes and the turon I ordered. I was so disappointed that I ended up making Filipino oxtail soup to satisfy my craving for Filipino-authentic food.

Had the Caldereta Combo at the Bob Jones soccer game last night. The seasoning was very good, meat was tender, vegetables cooked to just the right softness. The wrapped pork “sticks” were delicious. Can’t wait to see this food truck at another event!

So so good!! First time having Filipino food and we had to go back for seconds to take home. Their lumpia was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and the sauce was phenomenal! We also really enjoyed the Pancit! Highly recommend!!
