Disappointed on 12/16/25, a Tuesday night. Seems the NEIPA selection is dwindling since Evan left. We had two drafts and Mexican food from the restaurant nearby. I only purchased 4 beers to go and realized after getting to the car that Michael had not given the 20% discount. I went back and asked and he said I had to get at least six beers to get the discount, even though we had drank two drafts. He apologized that he should have informed me at checkout. He offered to discount on two more beer purchases but I declined. I’m a regular 1-2 times a week customer. Lighting too low in the shelved beer, had to use a flashlight to read beer ingredients.

One of our favorite local stops. Normally we keep to ourselves and just try a bunch of beers while sitting on the couch. This time we sat at the bar and spoke with the bartender, Rachel. She is a gem! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We had a great time chatting with her.

Good beer. Sad there is no food. We did go again and had a great time. Love the beer selection. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We did go next door and brought food back into the house of hops. It was a wonderful experience.

I love the big garage doors opening out to the patio, the friendly staff, the wide selection of beers, in bottle or can, that are organized by style. This makes it easy to find exactly what you are wanting. And then there’s the great drafts with an emphasis on excellent NC brews, like Burial and Foothills and Heist. Nice ping pong table too!
