Wonderful restaurant! Fast, friendly service and a cozy dinning room. Great food with lots of fresh dishes to choose from. I ordered the Thai style mixed vegetable stir fry with chicken. It was fantastic…lots of veggies and the most delicious brown sauce I’ve ever had. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals too. We’re definitely coming back here.

Amazing food, great prices, fast+kind servers. I really have nothing bad to say so far. There menu includes information for each item on whether the dish is gluten free, vegetarian, and tells the degree of spice. They also mention that certain dishes that are not normally vegetarian/vegan cam be made so upon request. We’ll worth the money, this is by far the best Thai food I have had and at a brilliant price!

Carlisle Fried Rice was excellent! Fresh vegetables, colorful presentation and great service. I loved the size of the portion and flavor. I also appreciate the fact that everything is made following each order. Others in my party had the Pad Thai. It was beautiful to look at and very tasty!

Pretty much the first time I’ve had Thai food, and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was great. Highly highly recommend.

Very friendly, courteous yet professional atmosphere. As to the food itself, well (please don’t take it out of context), it is heavenly. Every spice is measured and cooked to your delight. Every visit there only confirms why I LOVE Thai food. Kudos to the owner and to the Chefs.

I’ve been to several Thai restaurants, as Thai is my absolute favorite type of food, and this has been my least favorite restaurant. The red curry was very bland and had an overwhelming fish-smell/flavor. It seemed to have been missing the authentic Thai spices. I’ve experienced the bland curry here before (recently for lunch but in the past for dinner) but decided to give it another chance since the reviews seemed to improve. My husband’s fried rice was very greasy but the flavor wasn’t bad. The prices are slightly higher here than at other local Thai restaurants, especially for lunch. Staff was friendly, though. It’s worth it to travel a bit further for more flavorful Thai food for a better price.

I’ve eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants, in the USA and in Thailand. Some have been better than others, but few have failed to meet my expectations. Unfortunately, there is a first for everything. Tonight’s meal at Amy’s Thai Cuisine is the first really bad Thai meal I’ve ever had.
First, let me say that the location is very convenient and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are three dining rooms and the table spacing is comfortable, but not crowded. In that area, Amy’s gets 4 out of 5 stars.
Atmosphere is where the good news ends. We decided to go with the buffet so we could get a sample of everything they had to offer. Most of the food was either old or poorly seasoned. The shrimp dishes had either been on the buffet for hours or were made using nearly expired shrimp. The meatballs were rock hard, and the vegetables were soggy. If poor quality were not a sufficient dig, the quantity was also an issue. Several of the dishes were empty or near empty. This could have been expected if the dining rooms were full, however, only one of the three dinning rooms was nearly full.
In addition to poor quality food, the entire restaurant seems to be served by just one waitress and she was running here and there trying to keep everyone satisfied. It was a loosing battle for her.
All of this would not have been so bad if it were not for the nearly $14.00 price tag for the buffet. I would not blink at that price if the food and service had been up to par. However, lacking quality food and service staff that are stretched too thin, this price point was inexcusable. I would have gladly spent more to have received better food and better service somewhere else. And next time I’m in Carlisle, somewhere else is where I’m most likely to go.

I have been here many times and have consistently had nice experiences! I enjoy trying new dishes and love the soups. I love that the menu is marked for special dietary needs (gluten free, dairy free, etc.). I am gluten free and value restaurants who take this seriously as having food sensitivities is tough enough and it means a lot to have a restaurant that cares about your health/safety when consuming their food. The menu offers plenty of variety/flexibility of picking whether want just veggies or 1 meat/combination of meat added.

Always love everything I get there! The Money bags are so good for an appetizer or snack, the crab meat fried rice is crave-worthy and of course the Pad Thai is amazing. My mom and I had dinner recently and she said it was the best Pad Thai she ever had and I totally agree. I heard recently I need to try the Pad Thai spring rolls so that’s next on my list!

Stopped here on the way back to Pennsylvania from an Orioles game. I was hungry for Thai food. I didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be one of the best Thai restaurants I have set foot in and I’ve been to my fair share of Thai restaurants! Since that fateful day I’ve been back at least a dozen times. You’ve tried the rest, now try the best!
