The good points first. The chips and salsa were good. The chips were the thin style that I most enjoy. The salsa, though certainly not hot, had a nice mild spice to it that lends itself to over dipping. Our waitress started strong, but as the meal went on we saw less and less of her, to the point at the end we were trying to get her attention to ask for the check. Not a huge deal, the restaurant was filling up, but we were to the point that we were ready to go.

On the subject of the check. This is definitely one of the higher priced Mexican restaurants around. The prices reflect a higher end restaurant than what you get here. This is an old business converted into a restaurant, not a fine dining establishment. If you had any doubt about that just sit inside and listen to the door bell ringing every time someone opens the front door. It gets old really quick.

The food itself was disappointing. Everything was just bland and tasteless. I had never before felt it necessary at any other Mexican restaurant to have to put a heavy dose of salt and pepper on my food just to get any kind of taste from it. My wife and I each had completely different meals and both were tasteless. Maybe the restaurant is “heartsmart” or something and doesn’t put salt in anything it cooks, or maybe on that night they had a new cook. I don’t know, but I wouldn’t try them again.

I have been three times now. The service is always great and the food comes out fast. The food has been hit or miss each time we go. Today the grilled chicken was not well seasoned and the shredded chicken was really watery. All the rest of the food was good. Sometimes the salsa is hit or miss but the chips are always good.
The atmosphere is okay the restrooms were really slippery and can sometimes have a smell to them, the music is played really loud at times, and if there are customers smoking up top you will probably smell it depending on where you sit.
I want to love this restaurant but there are some inconsistencies that push me away.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. The husband and wife are so friendly and welcoming. Simi gives top tier customer service. He is thorough, fast and friendly! Great place for a quick bite or nice long dinner.

Definitely the worst Mexican restaurant that I have ever had in this county and possibly the state. I was a resident of this county for close to 5 years. My server was excellent and made compensation for the kitchen mistakes, not once has management come to check on the dining room and our party of 10 has been here for almost 2 hours. The margaritas were not flavorful at all, the sweet tea was old, my dish was over salted and the salsa tasted like spicy tomatoes ( no flavor profile ) . I had such high hopes for this establishment considering it’s pedigree. I hope for their sake they can get it together, I however regret not taking my business on to Buchanan where Los Cowboys has ALWAYS taken care of us.

It was very busy and the food was good. The service was slow. But I would definitely go back. The price were a few dollars higher than other Mexican restaurants in Newnan for same items.

I just had the chicken soup and it was loaded with chicken, avocado and veggies. The soup had a great taste and just the right amount of spices. I will definitely try it again.

Food is great! Service not so bad. Atmosphere also not so bad but very loud and normally packed on fridays!

The pork carnitas tacos were some of the best carnitas I’ve ever had! The soft corn shells are pretty standard fare. The dessert was fantastic, too!

The best little Mexican restaurant we’ve found so far in the Breman/Tallapoosa area. They aren’t afraid to use cilantro and jalapenos here so dishes have that authentic kick. Of course, they can water it down if you just can’t handle it. The Carnitas are fantastic, tender, simmered in beer and seen here in a burrito. The Carne Asada with cebollitas was a great alternative to fajitas…and check out those fried jalapenos! Definitely give this place a shot.

Every Restaurant in every industry has items that they do great, and those that they don’t although it may be within the Ethnic Group of food. I have eaten at Dozens and Dozens of Mexican Restaurants. And happen to be a self proclaimed food critic. I thoroughly enjoyed the Tacos Carne Asada at this location on Bremen Hwy 78. They were the best Tacos that I have Ever eaten, yes I do mean ever.

Side Note: Service was very friendly and welcoming but could have been more consistent in visiting the table more often and replenishing salsa beer etc. I did sit on the exterior patio and enjoyed the Atmosphere. ✅
