This place is amazing folks! Get ready for a seafood lover’s dream experience… the food, the ambiance, the service, the drinks, and the conversations were all on point this place has the freshest seafood I’ve had in Boston We had the local oysters and hamachi crudo with fried shallots and black truffle vinaigrette, so yummm! And the seafood tower was ostentatiously perfect with fresh, juicy oysters, shrimp, lobster, and tuna tartare; the tuna poke nachos with avocado crema, sriracha aioli, wasabi soy sauce and furikake mushrooms were uniquely presented and absolutely delicious. We also had the tuna crudo and albacore with jalapeno, wasabi microgreens and ponzu, a lip-smackingly delightful dish. And to top it all off… we thoroughly enjoyed the mouthwatering Premier Osetra Caviar — fresh, shiny, firm eggs that pop and splash in your mouth, a ocean-salty yumminess… And I cannot forget the amazing drinks – I had the classic Espresso martini, a must-have If you are lucky, you may find Mike behind the bar or walking around the restaurant (in my pics). Make sure you say hi and get some recommendations. He is the most amazingly hospitable and knowledgeable host with suggestions for a perfectly curated experience for any size or type of party.
And of course it doesn’t end there. Just across the waterway, Reel House Oyster Bar can ferry customers across the waterway to another amazing concept – The Tall Ship – a floating oyster bar on a docked ship, with amazing views, and alongside a large 40,000sq ft waterfront area with entertainment, retail, food trucks and vendors. We had such an amazing experience, everytime we come to Boston, we will stop here for sure!

We were in town from Texas and on a mission to try every Lobster roll we could. We were downtown and shopping and came across this place with a beautiful view. We sat at the chef’s counter which had plenty of room! We ordered the house caviar (AMAZING) and the lobster roll (hot butter style). I even made my own little caviar lobster roll in the last picture. 100% some of the best we have ever had at any out of state dinning experience! If we return to Boston – we will be returning to the ReelHouse for sure!

This place has wonderful views and a cool atmosphere. Service was slow even though it was not crowded. Had a few appetizers and drinks that were too standard.

Stopped here for some cocktails, and mamma mia, they’re amazing!
Took a lychee Cosmo, and partner took a guava jalapeno tequila drink! Both of them LOOKED AND TASTED AMAZING!
Great views as well!
PS: shoutout to Wes for making the amazing drinks!
PS: On my second visit, when a friend was in town, we grabbed a table right by the water and it couldn’t have been a better spot. I had an Aperol Spritz while the rest of my group went for the espresso Martini — we all really enjoyed our drinks. The tuna poke nachos stood out as a favorite, fresh and full of flavor. Overall, it was such a lovely summer afternoon just relaxing by the water with good cocktails, great food, and an easygoing atmosphere.

I was genuinely looking forward to dining at ReelHouse Oyster Bar during a visit to Seaport, as the venue has a lively and appealing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing due to repeated miscommunication and unprofessional conduct from staff.
Upon arrival, I was instructed by security to “sit anywhere,” while the hostess appeared occupied. After following this instruction, I was told by another staff member that I could not sit in that section and had to return to reception. The hostess again indicated I could sit anywhere, which I did — only to be told once more that I could not remain seated there.
Rather than resolving the confusion, a manager approached with an aggressive tone, asking “what’s your problem?” and ultimately telling me to “get out.” I was calm throughout and simply trying to clarify where I was permitted to sit. Security then unnecessarily grabbed my arm as I was leaving, despite the fact that I was complying.
This was not a matter of policy — it was a matter of coordination and professionalism. Being spoken to disrespectfully and physically handled in a situation caused entirely by staff miscommunication was unacceptable.
It is unfortunate, as the location and concept are appealing. However, hospitality begins with basic respect, and that was entirely lacking during this visit.

MANAGER WAS VERY DRUNK on a Saturday night. We were asking why we had a withdrawal of 50 dollars for two beers and while the bartender was explaining he just decided to kick us out the place being very disrespectful. It’s impressive that a restaurant of this level could let something like this happen with their employees. Letting them work while drinking.

My vote is hot lobster rolls! With chips. Come hungry and bring friends who encourage sharing. I recommend the oysters, probably the best I’ve yet to have! Also great spot for brunch, the eggs Benedict was delicious! You can’t go wrong with the truffle fries, home fries, or chips. The earth bowl and Charcuterie Board are also local favorites. I love the atmosphere and the staff at ReelHouse is super friendly. Pay attention to the hours of operation and make a reservation just to be safe.

We tried to go here on a frigid weekday night around 5, for pre-dinner drinks & oyster appetizers. It was empty so they sat the 6 of us at the bar. We ordered drinks and were deciding on the oysters, and the bar tender was told that they just accepted a larger party for an hour later. That’s when she told us we had to leave the (empty) bar and find another place to sit. So we said to where, and she pointed to the opposite side that only had 3 seats. Granted there weren’t that many people at the bar they could’ve asked the couples to move down a little bit to accommodate us, but they didn’t. Then an even ruder manager came over and told us exactly the same thing that we had to leave due to this party that they wanted to put in this section. We could’ve drank our drinks, eaten our oysters and left before the hour to give this large party their space but it turned really awkward. We then said well, at least let us finish our drinks since they can’t offer us a new space together and we’ll be out of here by the time the party comes. At 10 minutes till six the manager came over and was again really rude and told us that we had to leave immediately. None of the new party had even shown up yet. We didn’t order the oysters but the vibe was totally off and it was embarrassing for our out of town guests.
