I really like the authentic Mexican atmosphere and mariachi music. Good service and most of the food was served nice and hot from the kitchen. The salsa was below average, like canned tomato sauce with some mild spices. I had the esquite street corn side dish and the Pollo Loco. The corn was pretty good. The chicken had a very good, creamy flavor, smothered in onions. But it was served with frozen crinkle cut French fries, “Spanish” rice and flour tortilkas, all of which were pretty dismal. And it’s not cheap, $25 for a light meal and small app. I think this place could be really good with a little extra effort.

Very fast service and the waiter was very friendly. A cute little place with fantastic, authentic food. We had a chicken burrito and beef chimichanga as well as the esquite appetizer. If you are on vacation here and craving Mexican food this place does not disappoint!

Happy to have the 2nd location on the OBX, very authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu has many different options to choose from including some great fresh drinks. Very clean and kid friendly. The staff are friendly and if you’re new to an authentic Mexican menu they will be happy to help you out. Highly recommend this place. Just leaving this review is making me want to go back for lunch. Very reasonable priced.

My good friend brought me here for my birthday after searching for an open Mexican restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon since we arrived to 4 different ones that were closed.

I chose Los Antojitos after betting on the refreshing authentic feel in their photos and the expanded dinner menu options. My eyes were set on the shrimp tacos and the Molcajete with the Tamarindo Agua Fresca. The waitress also talked me into the freshly made guacamole, which was just chunky enough and as fresh as it could be.

I couldn’t have felt better about my choice of establishments after receiving such wonderful service at this family-run establishment. I felt very well taken care of. They were so kind and they even came to sing while I blew out the candles on my delicious flan.

They were very kind to prep an extra pineapple Agua Fresca for the drive back home after allowing me to practice some of my Spanish with them. I’ll certainly be returning to Los Antojitos in the very near future! I couldn’t have had a better first experience.

Los Antojitos was amazing in every area. I had a catering order for 20 people and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated to the greatest extent. The communication, professionalism, and accuracy was top notch! You won’t regret choosing this restaurant for your next meal!

We had a late lunch or early dinner and were the only customers. The small place is located in an old strip mall area.
We had the shrimp fajita for two which was very good.

We came just before the snowstorm. The food was very delicious. We started out with guacamole and chips. We had the chori steak and elote, which came with handmade tortillas. We also had the Carne Asada dinner, fried whole fish dinner, and carnitas dinner. All the dinners came with beans and rice. And freshly made tortillas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was comfortable. The restaurant is rather small. We also had a tamale, which was so delicious we ordered 6 more togo. The hot sauces on the table were very good (great flavors, not a lot of heat). We will have to order some online. The green habenero was my favorite.

What a gem of a restaurant to find out here on the outer banks! Paula was an awesome server. The food was fabulous. I recommend the birra tacos. The quality of the quac was second to none. I also really enjoyed the flan.

The food was decent. But the waitress seemed upset at th fact we wanted to dine in. I feel that 20% tip shouldn’t be added iif their service doesn’t meet the basic standards. Hire people that want to work.
