Walked by and saw the blackboard outside that had specials written on it including TAMALES AND ENFRIJOLADAS
Two foods that are unique and delicious, so I walked in and ordered take out.
The food is fantastic lol. Enchiladas (with Frijoles on top) stuffed with queso panela, rice, chicken on the side, and onions on top… very good
The tamales was the same quality … tasty and delicious. Not to mention warm/hot when I walked back home.
Muchas gracias I’ll be back

Actually these tacos have exceeded my expectations, they are extremely nice! Lady at the till was very friendly and attentive bearing in mind I am scared of very spicy food so she recommended that I put the spices on a side in case I wanted to try them, which I did. These tacos are so tasty and they were ready so quick, totally recommend them if you are around the area 🙂 Pricelist menu on the piccys

Dang. Do yourself a favor and order from this place. Was craving chilaquiles this morning and my boyfriend suggested this place since he’s stopped in for empanadas and enchiladas before. Said it’s clean, has good food, and good service. Well, it was fantastic! The girl on the phone was very sweet. The delivery guy was nice too. Now the food… amazing! The boyfriend downed his Mexican omelette so fast. That tomatillo sauce on the chilaquiles is EVERYTHING! Definitely have some leftovers for lunch. Super pleased to have this so close to home. Can’t wait to order again! Thank you!!!!!

I went to this restaurant hoping for the best which turned out to be what I did not expect. I ordered chicken and shrimp soft tacos, and when I opened the box in my car to enjoy a meal, what I saw was very disappointing. The taco that was prepared was a cooked tortilla, three pieces of chicken (and shrimp in the separate tacos) and an unnecessary amount of cilantro. I was expecting more ingredients and more taste in the chicken. When I went to get my drink, I found a cockroach in the freezer and it wasn’t exactly keeping the drinks cool. In the end, I do not recommend the soft tacos.

$17 for a Fajitas, and the plate wasn’t even full ♀️.. and it had more veggies than chicken. That’s a ridiculous price for food that was not enough for an adult.

Mike’s tacos happens to be one of the most awesome authentic taco places I’ve ever been to and it’s located in the heart of a very strong Latin community right on the border of Union City and Jersey City. They’re open till 11 p.m. to sit down and dine in and they deliver and they do deliver in a pretty decent timely fashion. I’ve probably turned at least 10 to 15 people on to going to this restaurant within the last year. For the amount of food that you get and the quality and the prices you can’t beat it. That said I do have a pretty strong gripe about how the owner decides to deal with deliveries. I order food from this restaurant at least three to four times a week each time spending roughly 30 to $35 as, I’m ordering for more than one person. I always tip the driver well and I always double the tax when I sit down and dine in there little restaurant. If I bring my own beer, I in fact will tip them even more. When you sit down in the restaurant they present you with a fantastic platter of tortilla chips with a red and green salsa..a very basic kind of thing… like bread and butter at a diner. Anyone who’s gone to a Mexican restaurant I’m sure has been served tortilla chips and salsa as they wait for the waiter or waitress to take their order. However when you order a delivery and you ask them to include chips and a little bit of salsa the employee’s refuse to include it because they state the owner does not allow them to include that in the deliveries. Now,…?… if I’m ordering 30 to $35 worth of food when I’m sitting down in the restaurant and I get tortilla chips with some red and green salsa I think it’s only fair when I’m ordering 30 to $35 in food on a delivery run that they include the red and green salsa with chips. And tonight I asked them to include that and they refused. I even spoke to two different people to explain to them that I think it’s fair for them to include that based on the fact that I order there so much the, in fact, the woman knows who I am over the phone because i order so much, but yet I was told that I have to resolve this problem with the owner.
I have to say to the owner… it’s a shame that you have a policy that requires the representatives of your restaurant to not include red and green salsa and chips with the delivery order. By not giving them the power to make that decision on their own, it greatly decreases the possibility of them receiving a tip from their customers. Because in order for me to get tortilla chips with red and green salsa I have to make a 12 minute walk one way to the restaurant and then walk another 12 minutes back to my apartment. I’ve been working since 6 this morning, I got home at 9:30pm at night…I don’t want to walk 25 more minutes to go eat dinner…salsa and chips is always included when you sit, so why not for delivery???? I think my spending $35 three times to four times a week allots me the right to get tortilla chips with red and green salsa… if you disagree with that BOLD statement, then fantastic…and good luck with that motto and I wish your business lots of luck because i spend $300-$400 at your restaurant and im sure you don’t need my business to stay afloat. But, let me tell you, if I do go to the restaurant to sit down and eat, I will no longer be giving any of your waiters or waitresses a tip… the only tip I’ll give them is to tell them verbally that they should have just included salsa and chips with my order last time I called for a delivery.
